this was actually the 93rd running of the Indianapolis 500, 2009 was the 100th year that indy had been built, 2011 was the anniversary of the first Indianapolis 500, although not the 100th running, mainly due to the world wars cancelling some of them. 2016 will be the 100th running, not being picky just love Indy history lol

Wheldon finished 2nd. He was always phenominal at Indy, with the exception of 2003, 2007 & 2008, ever since he started. 2004: 3rd, 2005: WIN, 2006: 4th, 2009: 2nd, 2010: 2nd, and 2011: WIN. Quite remarkable driver. Will be missed. Awesome job to Castroneves too!
