@qantaspilot95 It was in Qantas livery, but with a small titel ,,operated by Air Pacific,, The Crew was from Fiji..

the airport is very close to the sea so i assume there is alot of cross winds. i fly fiji 2 times a year next had that kind of experience... maybe rookie pilot.....they all have to start somewhere i guess.

He seemed to come in so quickly??? probably contributed to the hard landing. Being on a bad landing where the oxygen mask actually popped out from above me. That was scary . was a British airways flight from Heathrow to Los angeles.

Yes British Pilots ALWAYS land hard when i go from Los Angeles to Heathrow. The only time they didnt land hard was on the way back to L.A and the Pilot was American.

Yes it´s true.
He don´t try to land softly but that was an Air Pacific captain. Maybe that is the way how they land;-)
