Don't get me wrong, i'm not drawing up shallow comparisons, but you must admit, shows like the Xfactor are quick fixes. A quick and easy way to gain success in the music industry. It's a business, and the buzz word is money. They don't care about joe himself, watch how quick he will get dropped if his record sales do not come up to par.

They do not care who gets hurt, people's feelings, the integrity of the music industry, and everything else, all they care about is cold, hard cash. And it fucking pisses me off. Bands like R.A.T.M have been on the go for nearly 15 years, slaving to get recognition for the music that they have crafted from scratch.....

Then you have the X-Factor. So this lad who won, has been in the industry for 5 minutes and when he loses out on making it big, everyone bitches and whines about it. A vast majority of mainstream music nowadays - generally - cannot be called music, it's churned out by a music factory and contructed off a template that they think the population of this country will digest and lap up.
