  • ponad czasowa muzyka- cudowny głos Connie

  • Another great singer with a fantastic voice grew up with her type of music and you never got tired of hearing it. Love you Connie cheers Jimmy from Perth.

  • A typical sing along song after a few bevvies... I luv Connie Francis she sings from the heart

  • suur tänu, väga armas laulja ja ilus laul

  • Great!

  • i start listening to connie francis after i watched futurama where seymore (frys dog) waited for him to come. after all connie francis is a great singer. i love her voice and most of her song..

  • The sound of the 60's. What a time! Awesome song!!!

  • There is Connie...There is no other female singer who can replace her...bar none.

  • Beautiful memories, great singing Connie Francis. Thank you.

  • I grew up listening to this music, courtesy of my mum, & I appreciate now as much as I did then!....

  • Does anyone have a LIVE version of this? it would be fantastic

  • Connie and Patsy are my Queens

  • @MysticalRealms That's the same for me...

  • 3 people have jealous hearts...

  • Grew up singing to this lady, love her, THE Best voice eva..

  • @PONYBOY430

Hey fella, you just reinforced the promise I made to myself never to take mind altering drugs. Please try to get into the real world.

  • Why don't we ever see the sisters who she sings with?

  • @inya1lake They were either backup singers or herself. In this song, there are both. During her girl group recordings, Whitney Houston's mother was a backup for Connie.

  • When it comes to singing...there is Connie. Every other female singer is an after thought.

  • @gdl0748 i understand your passion but have you heard Celion Dion with "The Power of love"?

  • @nomiclas Yes, and you are right about "The Power of Love." I listened to that song quite a bit, too. It's just that I grew up when Connie was the number one female singer of all times. Celine has one of the most powerful voices ever, but I think Connie has a voice that suits every type of music, from pop, rock and roll, and even country. Take care.

  • @gdl0748 So true. She's unmatched, and will never be replaced. Other female singers later had success, but often talent wasn't a requirement.

  • LOVE this rendition!! Thanks for posting it.

  • There was a lot else going on in in the mid 60's, but Connie was right up there, certainly in England. Thanks for posting, much appreciated.

  • I like the straightforward, unsentimental approach of this arrangement. I never really liked this song until I heard Connie Francis' version. She rocks it.

  • I thought I knew all her songs in English anyway. I have listened to this 50 times in 2 days. Thanks so much!

  • I fell in love with connie when I was younger and still love her songs to this day.

  • Connie sings this lovely song also in Japanese and German!

  • Great post twerpy7 - I love Connie and her music. ;-)

  • Oh what a jealous heart has. Nothing. Connie has been a great singer. Love this. I believe this one should be dedicated to those with a jealous heart. Those who do not have one are happiest.

  • This is so beautiful Connie is one of the best female singers awesome cheers for sharing

  • Lovely

  • The BEST OF THE BEST number from Connie

  • i love classical music and artist or singer, and connie francis are one of those favorites.

  • I just love this song and Connie's version. It should have been a million seller.

  • @Shrinksjp Couldn't agree more, but so should "Don't Ever Leave Me" and a few others. What happened? Why weren't they marketed properly? A personal appearance would have helped. She came to the UK in 1965 to promote My Child, and that was a (comparative) success, but she'd lost out by then. Was her manager any good? Don't Ever Leave Me could have been massive.

  • @vanguard1952 I'm not sure. I think while Connie wanted to remain on the charts, the British Invasion took over and she was the biggest thing on the concert tour and the biggest female star in Vegas and she probably concentrated more on that than on her singles.

  • Why dont we have this kind of music nowadays? now all we have is Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert like wth

  • in 1967 this was my favorite song, but it was in spanish, never realized they had it in english, until today lol guess thats what happens when your born and raised on the border! lol!

  • A great version of a great song. I do prefer Al Morgan's 1949 version. Good news for twerpy, there is a C.D available of some great Al Morgan songs including this. This is available in the U.K. under thebtitle "Jealous heart and other favourites"

  • I love her too. My mother was a big fan and played her records when I was young. These songs remind me of her. Mom went to heaven June of 2008. Thanks, Mike

  • All the ladies who sing jealous hart are good, becouse its a great song, and its always nice to listend to diffrent voices love them all

  • Superb Crystal Clear Voice Full of Real Emotions, Reaches the Soul - Clearly an era where Talent was the only factor for success , unlike the modern day scantily clad divas with very little talent.

    Bring Back the talent!

  • I love Conni Francis..

  • i love her eventho she could be my grand grand mother now lol..

  • connie is so pretty :) love this song!! :)

  • A Real Gem, thank you so much for sharing!

  • One of her best mid 60s singles.

  • - What a beautiful voice and song. Connie Francis, that means whole life pleasure.

    - A famous lady.

    - Best wishes and greetings, here from Germany, too. To you ALL sends Harald.

    - I liked her long time ago, already.

  • Connie Francis ,pure perfection , pure voice ,and lovely .

  • @sessnazx - this is certainly not spam - seems that some nutty fellow has been fooling around with such good music ?

  • One of the greatest blessings of being born in 1950 was that Connie's music haas graced my entire life from childhood through my senior years. I pray that if I go to Heaven she will be my singing angel for all eternity.

  • She is my all time favorite singer

  • Connie has recorded so many songs of different styles, and this remains one of my favorites by her. What a gifted singer! Over 50 years of songs for us now, plus some great movies, too. LG

  • Only Angles in heave can compete with this voice. When I came to US in the

60"s from Poland she was the only one I listen for a long time . I hope she makes

some appearance on TV , I really really missed her.

  • Even when she did covers she made them her own

  • Do you know when a song doesn`t go out of your mind?!

It happens to me when I hear Connie Francis, although I`m not a special Fan or something it just touches my heart.

  • This is a best country song of all time.

  • Aw just beautiful.

  • This is great version by Connie, one of her best double track songs, She recorded this song in 1966 and went to number 44 on Billboard. Great song, great Connie.

Nice jukebox recording also. Thanks for posting. I Love it.

  • Lovely song and a wonderful version by the great Connie Francis. Wasn't she just the best.

    Thankyou twerpy7 for posting.

Thankyou for a great channel too.

    All the Best

    Geena

  • I, Harald, too, enjoy the melody very much. And remember, such a long long time,

before. A famous lady and great singer. Greetings fo all cowboys, here in Germany.

  • Whoever loves Connie loves this gem. Awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  • She was great!

  • BRILLIANT.THANK YOU FOR SHARING.

  • Love this Track being back so many happy Memories of a party in Fife Scotland

    in the late 70's

  • My favourite female singer singing one of my most favourite songs. Could listen to her all day. Wha a voice and what a talent! A million ************** Thank you.

    Terry.

  • sweet sixties .....and now?

  • A classic oldie song....which I treasure.

  • connie francis can sing anything comes here way shes a classic joe from ireland

  • I love this version of the song, also. I only heard it with Connie singing in one tone, this version has two voice tones. I wish I could get this version somewhere.

  • TheSusiehay : not difficult. EBay has the original LP "Jealous Heart" up for sale regularly. It has the double-tracked version.

  • Thank you very much. I will certainly check this out. It's such a beautiful song and Connie sings it with so much heart and soul. I can't believe that this song back in 1966 only got to 99 on Billboard.

    Ray

  • I take that back "Jealous Heart" got to 47 on Billboard and 29 on Cashbox. I was thinking about Connie's version of "Spanish Nights and You" this song got to 99 on Billboard. I love this song also.

  • It was Connie`s last chart entry in GB,reaching #44 in January `66. Ironic that the classier her voice became, the more her records were ignored by radio, which controlled the charts.

  • I love this version.

  • Two words: Raw Talent!

  • Lydia Tuinenburg sang with much more soul. Still beautiful

  • america before cold war cool country

america after cold war shitty country

  • why cant the stars today be beautiful like the stars from the 50,s

  • the ideal jukebox record...and is on my 1953 Seeburg 100C.....John, London, England

  • It sure is a great jukebox record. I have a 2004 VW beedle bug and I play Connie's CD's all the time. Difinitely no comparison to you 1953 Seeburg 100C. Thanks for comment.

  • I think this is the lp version-in Britain the single version was only one vocal track Connie having been criticised for so much double tracking.Whatever, she was simply wonderful.

  • great song !!

  • una cancion fabulosa en la voz de Connie, con toda la orquestacion.

  • connie francis has always been one of my favourtes, a lovely voice!!!

  • This i s super! I've forgotten she has a version of this. Thanks for posting! Connie Francis' voice is soooo sweet.

  • I bought this single and still love it. I was amazed at the time how poorly it sold. I guess it`s a 50s sound in the 60s.

  • And wasn't that an obstacle for so much of Connie's music!

  • ...folks made 'fun' of me for liking this version..!

  • Just to let you know, that this version of Jealous Heart is thre Uk version, but i also have the US copy and it is a lot diffren;t version to this

the sing was recorded in Feb 1965 and charted in the UK charts on Jan 1966 reaching No 44 but in the US it charted on Nov 1965 and reached No 47 in thr US charts and in the hot 100 US( Cashbox) at No29 and No 10 in Adult- contemporary

  • Thanks for all the nice comments on this song. I am still amazed this great song so beautifully sung by Connie only reached 47 in the 1965 charts.

But times they were a changing in music in 65.

  • @twerpy7 even tho it only went to 47 on the pop charts, it was a top ten easy listening hit for connie and also a top 30 hit for her in england.

  • @den81164 Well,not far off-- #44 in fact.

  • FANTASTIC.

  • Connie is so good....God has blessed her well...

  • @bjornbliss1 Really? Raped,lost voice,brother murdered,mental institutions for years,bipolar. Blessed? Hope God doesn't visit these parts.

  • @vanguard1952

I believe the person was refered to her voice you Dimwit!

  • @HoboGus Let a "Dimwit" give you a free English lesson. 1. You mean "referring". 2. "Referring" has a double "r" in the middle of the word,as does "referred". 3 "Dimwit" does not have a capital "D" ; it is not a proper noun. 4 You may "believe",but that is your opinion. "God has blessed her well" is a general observation, not a particular one,so does not only refer to her voice.

  • quite often we love the originals however conie reall does do this song justice. she has tackled so many classics and i never tire of her renditions. thank you for posting

  • WOW! I never knew there was an English version of "Blaue Nacht am Hafen", a Lale Andersen Hit going back at least to 1950. It makes perfect sense for Connie Francis to sing this beautiful love ballad. She was Germany's sweetheart throughout her career.

    Thanks for posting this gem!

  • I listened to Al singing Jealous Heart.

I liked his vocal style a lot.

Only trouble was the sound quality from Al's old 1949 record.

Hope the record companys release a

high quality CD so we can really apreciate Al's singing.

  • @twerpy7 use your instinct, what can u expexct for the year 1949 to asked for sound quality.the important thing is the song and the singer.

  • @twerpy7

are you referring to al alberts of the four aces?

  • @twerpy7 eBay Australia have this on a cd item number 290510886554, Gary

  • @twerpy7 eBay Australia have this on a cd item number 290510886554, copy and paste this number into ebay and it will come up. Enjoy,Gary

  • Excellent version but i also preferred the Al Morgan version.

  • she has the most wonderfull voice great record

  • Excellent version of this song, I prefer the 1949 version by Al Morgan

  • Connie sings this well, love it. A bit of useless info for you, Lale Andersen made a version in Germany, Blaue Nacht am Hafen. Also worth a listen.

  • One of Jenny Lou Carson's best writing efforts...and Connie does a superb job singing it.

  • She and her song was beloved by so many girls from Taiwan during 1950 and early 1960!!

  • Thanks for the comments Sharkytampy.

I was surprised that Patsy didn't record Jealous Heart.

I think Jealous Heart is one of the greatest Country songs of all time.

  • Hi twerpy7. Thanks for replying. I hope your referring to patsy clines crazy being one of the greatest country songs in that list of yours ha ha as Im a huge fan of hers.

  • absolutely and jenny lou carson was one of the greatest country songwriters ever.

  • This would have been a great song for patsy cline too.

  • Oh, Concetta, what a lovely voice. She is my all-time favorite singer. A great loss when she was attacked in a motel. Such a talent wasted.

  • listen to celoso right here on youtube from the group Mana, great version, great guitars.

  • Absolutely flawless. Effortless power, expression and pitch.

  • A real tearjerker, many a teenage girl has played this and wept along.

  • wonderful...thank you for this classic "connie"...;-}

  • THIS is the best version,by the best female pop singer.everything she did was great.

  • Al Morgan's version was the best !

  • she would go on to have only 4 more top 100 hits. This one hit #47 on Nov. 27, 1965. She is one of the best singers around! Thanks for sharing this great version of this song. Better than Tab Hunter's version..wayyy better.

  • nice video and song

  • thanks twerpy7. jealousy is not a good virtue.

too much jealousy breaks relationship, the song said so. and i love this song coz it taught me

not to be jealous, lest i'll be the loser in the end. and i love Connie and many of her songs.

  • beautiful high quality pictures!

  • Very nice posting! You are right -- this song came out in 1965. It's the single from a really good album. You did a great job! Thanks!!! Ken
