  • Holy fuck I didn't even know you could play that sort of music on a harmonica. Very nice. I'm impressed

  • its a half valved harmonica, easy to bend and overblow...

  • @blackstone1111

no, this one is without valves

  • @harpsnake bendings are wery good my friend......

  • @blackstone1111 you can't overbend on valved harmonicas.

  • very nice!)

  • you said that the only diffrence between the solist pro and the 1847 was the desing on the coverplate... does the solist pro is as good as the 1847??

  • Nice playing snake.

  • that was a really cool sound when you where bending, almost sounded middle eastern...

  • Thanks for the inspiration, with the middle eastern stuff.

How many notes is it possible to get out of a harmonica?

  • There are 20 reeds so 20 notes... but on a diatonic harmonica, ALL the notes are there, many of them are "hiding".

You have to find these hidden notes by draw-bending, blow-bending, overblowing, and overbending... which takes a lot of practice.

Great fun with each level of achievement !

  • I probably should of said "20 obvious notes"... then all the hidden/missing notes are "not obvious", but they are there too!

  • Iv herd a few Harp players playing that crazy Middle Eastern Sound.I love it . Is there any tab or lesson's on this anywhere for this sound?

  • hi. good sound. is it really out-of-box or you have to adjust gaps before playing?

  • Give me Sierra :)) Joke. Verry good Job!

    Peace

  • Great, man!

    I love your playing.

  • Very nice playing!Dave Toussaint also plays Seydels

    Are they the future?

  • They may be the future.

The direction is really the right one, I think we have support them by buying their new harps (no, don't get anything from seydel).

  • Seydel 1847's no better than the Soloist Pro? I might guess brass reeds are more resonant than stainless steel. So far, the world isn't drowning in stainless steel trumpets. Thanks Harpsnake. Nice playing!

  • Actually 1847 is better and stainless reeds are louder, brighter and more resonant.

  • Actually, brass and steel are both similarly resonant. The reason that trumpets are brass is because brass in a natural killer of germs. If trumpets were made of steel, a lot of nasty stuff would grow in them.

  • Very good remark !!!

    Thank you man..

  • I've never heard anything like that "Middle Eastern Stuff" on a harmonica. Very interesting.

  • Check out Jasson Ricci (here@utub), he's doing amazing stuff in these scales.

I can also strongly recomend "streiml" and of course the N1 - Howard Levy.

  • Hi Snake, thank you very much for the sharing of 1847.

  • Thanks for the info! Nice to see you live :P

  • f%&ing awersome

  • Thanks bro! :)
