K yall I have a line 6 l4 but I am seriously considering selling it to pick up one of these. I really love this analog sound way more. Is that the wise choice?
My uncle gave me a 1978 Memory Man Deluxe which I have heard is vintage....how much is it worth???I don't play guitar..i play drums, so I don't have much use for it
He also gave me a Maestro ps-1b phase shifter which is also vintage....do you know how much that is worth??
I have the 1978 issue of this effect pedal...my uncle gave it to me....how much is it worth???I don't play guitar..i play drums, so I don't have much use for it
@ChrisAmarillas03 If it's mint and if you sell it at the right place it could go for (I'm going to say) $500+. If it's a 2 prong it's worth more. Hope this helps.
Sweeet demo! is ur DMM the newer model? is it noisy at all? Im in the process of getting one of these but its the older verision, and im a bit hesitant to buy it because of the noise issues that are so common in them. Thanks!
@SexyFuckingBeast1 Thank you, no this is the 5 knob reissue which is discontinued. It's really clean as far as noise. You will see that in old delay but this is the best delay pedal ever! You can only get the older ones (like this one) on ebay and music shops since it's is discontinued. Sometime soon, electro harmonix will be making a "tap tempo" blue version DMM. It looks and sounds really cool. Hope this helps!
@truthdrummerforlife Yeah I know its a reissue, I meant new as in a few years old. Maybe built in the 2000's right? Im currently debating if I should buy the DMM or another analog delay (maybe carbon copy?) The unit that I might buy is an older model, maybe early 90's or late 80's, the owner doent know for sure. It has the attached power supply, which I have heard are noisy. I need a clean pedal because I am going to the studio in a couple of weeks what would u recommend? DMM? Carbon Copy?thanks
@SexyFuckingBeast1 Oh, yes mine was built in 2000. If it has a power cord it would be mid 70's to mid 80's. IF it is a 2 prong then it's older. May I suggest that (if possible) the pedal should be tested by you to see if it is noisy. It's very possible that it could be noisy but you never know. I was thinking about getting the carbon copy for my ambient work, but after seeing the DMM and what it can do I thought the CC was more or less a toy. I hope this helps you. Let me know.
@truthdrummerforlife Hey it's me agian! lol i officially have a DMM now! great pedal! i ended up buying a newer version that cost me a pretty penny! lol thanks for your help :) also, how are you powering your DMM? because i was thinking of powering mine using my pedal power 2+ but idk if i should lol Thanks again!
I use the outlet in the back of the 2+ with the transformer. This is because my model needs the smaller plug to power. If you have the 24v DMM, use the red cable in your power 2+ (I think...check your manual). If you got the new blue 9v with tap tempo just use a normal plug. Hope this helps!!!
@Xevamir The new DMM will be analog, with digital tap-tempo capability. Several true analog delays already have tap tempo functionality: the Diamond Memory Lane 1 & 2, Deluxe Memory Boy, Analogman ARDX20, the forthcoming Malekko 919, and others.

I have one of these wonderful pedals. Nothing beats it for analog echo in my opinion. It does everything I need it to do and much more!

@ChrisAmarillas03 That i'm not 100% sure but I've seen used ones go for roughly $360 (with the foot-switch). Hope this helps :)

@truthdrummerforlife The tap tempo version will not be analog like this "bix box"model. They use an "analog-voiced" digital chip in the newest one.
It's impossible for a true analog delay to have tap tempo.
