It's one of those whimsical titles that you'd rarely see anymore. A true classic, and a fun one at that.

Wow, you're back! That's strange... I wast thinking of PMing you a few days ago to request another review! This was an interesting review, and it looks like a cool fame! I sit just me or has your voice changed? My first thought was how epic the music is, which is something you picked up on later on. I think the character is awesome, and it's a shame that we only see crappy gung-ho men and hot young girls today.

1. Yes, I've returned. Sorta. I made this video a while back but never got around to uploading it till now, so... yeah...

2. If my voice changed, I've not noticed. Could be allergies or something.

3. Yes, the music is amazing and yeah, originality in characters is lacking these days. You don't see stuff like this (or Blood, or Duke Nukem, or Shadow Warrior... ah the characters...) anymore.

4. If you'd check the forums every so often, you'd notice I've still been posting stuff on them... ; )

I remember this game, it was one of the first ones I found out about (it came on some game demo CD waay back in 94-96). Those monsters freaked me out, so I never actually played it but I really enjoyed the theme music and watching the intro demo ^_^

I suppose I'll have to give it another try.

Definitely worth a play. The game is actually aimed at an adult audience, which means the monsters are technically supposed to be freaky.
