Those t.v. hosts and radio hosts that he referred to do not have to be fact checked because most of them are classified as "talk shows". They can lie all they want. Most of the time they just provide "half truths" or try and gather as much information as they can to support their position but never the opposite (all for you). Obama, however, is fact checked constantly and those who did go back and check out what he said in relation to the bill (ex. me) found that he was not lying.

Curic admits in her report that it was indeed a lie (albeit she tries to cover it up and justify it by saying "it's complicated"). Furthermore, the president is permitted to say someone lies in the previous line of the speech, but when Congressman Wilson gives the same response it's frowned upon. I would be honored to meet any president, but it's hypocritical for a Congressman to be struck down when the People's largest Representative is not held to such standards.
