She was the best pet and we spent 7 wonderfull years together. It was a shame to have her taken away from us so soon as she was a family pet

It's amazing how smart they are too. Ours use to play foot ball and golf.

Golf was the funnyest. She use to rob a shoe and hit her tennis ball around the garden for hours ;D

@DuB420son my bully eats like a queen every day and is very loved. The electric collar is good for training purposes and to prevent her from actions I dont want her doing, while in training I dont shock constantly and its at lvl 4 which is more like a massage but gets her attention. Cesar Milan use it also for training.Its really not that bad rather then having this breed jump up at a child and break its face with their hard face structure.She no longer wears the collar.

@DAVD305 Having grown up with dogs for the last 20 years I think my opinion is valid. There is no need for an electrical collar just a competent owner. Ceaser MIllan was in fact sued for his use of an electric collar and a lot of trainers disagree with his methods. Personally I think the guy is cruel.

But it did help and if Ceasr Milan got sued so should all pet stores like PETSMART, etc, be sued for selling it. People think this is a breed that will cuddle with you and remain calm in the house false false false. If you notice there really is only like 2 video's of this breed paying attention or calm by professionals. I was also fooled by this breed by seeing these youtube video's and thinking they are easy dogs they are not.. So excuse me for using products that are sold in pet stores.

@BishopJonny Honestly if you live in a condo forget about this breed you need a big yard for dog can run thats the only reason I still have mine. Dog will take extreme training to have it house train, basicly if your unemployed your good. Crate train as soon as possible if kept inside the house. If dog is gonna be lose in your house say bye bye to all your belongings. The good parts of owning a bullterrier is they look cool and do get along with other dogs in your house hold. dont trst me get 1

@DAVD305 I've had 3 bullterriers since I was a little kid. All of them were fairly calm, super friendly both in the house and out. I live in Newcastle UK so there were plenty of places where they got exercise and they never needed, nor would I have ever thought about using, an electric collar. I still maintain that it is cruel and completely unnecessary. All they need is a competent and patient owner. You really don't sound like you're capable of handling these dogs...

spannersrus86 - fact is you should have been prepared for this - a bull terrier is not a toy and anyone who buys one should have actually done some research before hand. they are a beautiful breed when owned responsibly. if you love your pup then do some proper research (ie -more than a whiny comment on youtube) start at your local bully association... if you can't bring yourself to do this then give your bully back - it deserves better.

Advice for spannersrus86: young bull terriers are known for being hyper. EXERCISE! walk her maybe twice a day. Give her plenty of toys to chew. Puppy-proof your house and yard. Lock her outside with some toys so you can keep your sanity.

On the pissing: maybe bad potty training? read up on "crate training". Reward her with a treat every time she successfully pisses in the right place.

I've known owners that have shown their Bully's the 2006 Westminster tape, and the Bull Terrier's ego and arrogance just increases after viewing it. The last thing this Bull Terriers needed was a Westminster Championship. Just keep the tape away from him.
