It would be interesting to know who ALL these folks are - since I have at least 20 Gaither DVDs, I am curious about the many unidentified people who appear on album after album but never sing in a specific group and aren't named. I guess I'm just a nosy person ;-) . By the way, I wonder how many regular viewers of Gaither programs would be as surprised as I was to learn that Larry Ford is NOT Tennessee Ernie's son? Any of us who grew up poor can really relate to this song. That ol' house of ours in Michigan, the wind would whistle through the rafters in an unheated upstairs. But when the nine of us get together now we just laugh and thank God we had what we had.. Thank you for this post, Jessy is just great and I love him and his music.

For the better part of a year and a half, I have been battling cancer.

I seem to be in remission, but, every once in awhile a blip comes up on a test or procedure.

God has taken such good care of me so far.

On days that I may feel my weakest and my worst, this song plays over and over in my mind.

I believe I am going to be healed, but, the alternative ain't bad.

I too have "leaving on my mind" and due to my failing health, I know that soon I will be going home to be with my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. I look forward to this not with fear, but with great anticipation. No Born-Again Believer need fear death as Jesus has promised that once we are "absent from the body" we will be "present with the Lord".
