can i just say that i was raised by my father on all the lands of lore games and i think that i enjoyed all of them but i most enjoyed Lands of Lore Three and my sister agreed, you can do so much more, i did not like Lands of Lore 2 much as it was do epic, it did not serve the story too well... well done for bring this to us... x

I feel the opposite, the epicness is what sets Lands of Lore apart from other RPG adventures, and having a concentrated hub system kind of takes away from that

3 was decent only because of the class system and the semi free roam feel but 1 was the best one. I didn't like lol2 at all.

I positively LOVE this game! And I've found out (having played the game three times completely through) that there are new things to find each time I play.

Like just recently I found the Orc's lair hidden in the Draracle's caves where (not only did I get lost for three days) I found a ton of items! And a tunnel just after you get the Sigil where you can get a crossbow and some other items, too.

* Again it's possible to reach Level 30 in all Guilds. Just use hardest fighter training arena all the time (takes 1-2 hours approximately to reach top). Each round cost only 10$.

* If you take the pet from fighters guild and train until 30 in all 4 guilds (pet must be alive or it won't levelup, i think) you are nearly invincible. I experienced the pet to kill an endboss with 1 hit...

Most likely going to hapen, as "The Shattered Desert" with the NOD base is the last level in the game.

You have to wait though, as it is like i said the last level in the game.

My personal favorite is Ssyruss (spelling?) of the thieves guild, he's sarcastic, he's fast AND he can provide an endless supply of greater poison, also he can steal from shops, and get weapons at range, including a special little something from the portal world of fire...

I usually killed off everyone at the thieves guild and looted their store though, that mask of invisibility is AWESOME...

My experience from the lands of lore 3

* Be sure to enter all 4 guilds.

* My personal favorite familar is Lik from the warriors guild

* be sure to master stealing and lock-pick from the thieves guild

* sioned in the magician guild is hot

* be sure to take as many things from the portal world as possible

* before you enter the third or secon portal world be sure to take all things with you (dont let it be in your room in lower gladstone)

The storyline actually makes a bit of sense although I found the whole portal thing kind of lame.

Like the Underworld. Why is that its own world? It's just a haunted house.

Lands of Lore was supposed to have EIGHT titles. EA took that away from us, because they killed the series off.

@Crowley9 Bullfrog is developing with Microsoft as Molyneux' Lionhead. Origin Systems ended it's lifetime when Richard Garriot stopped developing new groundbraking games and the last Wing Commander Game gone shipwrecked because of software-pirates. Arr! IMHO: There's too much hate for EA just because of their lame licence-game series. But if you want to keep that many studios working like EA does, you have to put in licence-based games that are already thought to be mediocre in their conception.

Mh.... sry for the last message here ;)..... abouuut........ that sequence... I generally loved how the Lands of Lore games (1 and 3 especially) had so much background Information... Lands of Lore 1 in one of the 2 books that came with the box and in the CD Version also in the game... and in Lands of Lore 3 also in the manual and in this install sequence.... it showed really how much heart was put into this games.... and inspired my fantasy as a child :O... Copper is a sweet person :)

Oh man, just this install-screen makes me want to play LOL3 all over again, i really loved that game.
