Numa Numa is actually called 'Dragostea Din Tei' written and sung by Dan Balan when he was with the group O-Zone!

It's known as "Numa Numa" because of the lyrics. Since "Dragostea din Tei" is in romanian (which is hard to learn by other people) they memorized the two Numa's because it was easier to pronounce and remember.
