Thanks for the positive review . It's my first one and it was mostly treated as an experiment. The vocals didn't come through loud enough in the mix. Would have sounded better if they had been. Yes, the onboard stereo mics for the Canon are that good. I was amazed. I primarily bought the camera to take stills.
Take into account that I was playing through a pretty good sound system, that it's multi-tracked, and I had a good studio monitor next to the camera.
The music is excellent. I found your video while searching for videos shot with the Canon SX 130. I think that camera is a better deal than the Flip UltraHD.
I know it's unexpected, but, if you will, please allow me to introduce you to another wonderful YouTube singer, Karen Eng. She sings, writes, does covers, and she's got the most amazing voice. Amazing to look at too. Plus, her music has that old-time sensibility. I've featured some of her videos on my channel.
