@janetkk89 Japanese/swahili/portuguese is an international language. it doesnt matter where youre from as long as you understand japanese/swahili/portuguese.
I'm trying out a new cello for the next few days, and this is the movement I'm focusing on. My current cello fights me so hard in the quiet parts! Oh, Han-Na, how awesome you are!
Yes! I can see she is completely connected to the emotion of the piece! It makes me, the audience, excited, in turn. As a musician, I want to involve my audience as she does.
i dont care what any body says this girl was honestly given a gift from somwehere i dont know where from but its as if she puts all of evrything shes been through into her music she totally into it even the orchestra in the back and the obo and the french horn i met her once at this cello festival in st louis, i was practing my solo excerpt at the time and she came up behind me and had her hand on her heart. and i smiled and she waqlked away. it was amazing for me to had touch someone like her
oh... sorry, I was not clear about what I was saying. What I mean is that, I was admitted to that orchestra right after she was done with her guest conducting. It was around early May, I remember this clearly because that's when I just moved to Korea and was looking for an orchestra. Right now, I am having great fun. Isn't is really amazing that in Korea, there are many great opportunities of playing together with this kind of nice cellist?
Iedereen heeft gelijk. :)

Really enjoyed this again. Hanna is amazing.
I've listened to her play since when I was pretty young, and she is still one of the most favourite celloist.
The only thing I miss is the quality of the video clip. If it's better, the sound would be better, too. :)

it's such a tragic that the orchestra I belong to right now was one time conducted by Chang-Han-Na as a guest conductor.

I love this piece too, but I prefer Rostropovich's interpretation - is more colourful. I think Han-na Chang hasn't control over form.

Thank you for sharing this. I love this piece and Han-na Chang plays it so perfectly!
