I came to Chicago in 1964 at a place called the Blue Pub heard the singer Georgia White sing this song. She had no idea where it came from, had no sheet music. It became my favorite song. Decades later I discovered it came from a Bing Crosby film, found the Johnson record last year, and finally 45 years after I first heard Georgia sing it I got the Crosby record. How strange the song was posted on youtube on my birthday.
