Emo is a stereotype not a musical gender no matter how people try to make it so. Music is the basin in which our emotions are poured into and made into songs. Love. Hate. Anger. Loneliness, etc are emotions and exist in Pop, Metal, Rock, Alternitive, Indie. If your calling this Emo, you're calling every song and band Emo.

@YourEpic Simply put emo is a label placed on the content of the lyrics from bands. For example Taking Back Sunday's songs with more likely than not be about a failed relationship. This gives it the "emo" genre that while is unfavored by many, easily sticks to this band on that definition (which is the generally accepted meaning).
