Our local dealers only order once a week on Wednesdays and it takes a week with them as well. As many people there are in line at the counter you'd think they could place orders daily!
Mother Honda can get parts to my dealer for a 9 year old, no longer produced bike in 2 days. That includes transit time. HD is -ridiculous- when it comes to shit like that.
Almost sounds like the dealership only wants to place an order to the Mothership once a week. Dealership employees like to cry and moan about people that order everything off the internet, but they have only their self-imposed archaic system to blame.
im not really a fan of Harleys, but they are starting to grow on me as im starting to get a few years older. Vod and the 883 are my fav. What model us your cousins bike?
2 weeks to ship anything to Edmonton Canada unless you want to pay over $100 for shipping than you still have to wait 5 days
