Very good.... just wondering the choice of putting a guitar song - Tie Your Mother Down - in the medley instead of maybe Don't Stop Me Now or another rocker specifically written or piano.

It's a good point. I did plan to do several other piano based songs but couldn't get them ready quickly so it was a trade off between recording something then, or everything later. I think you've noticed that it is more madness than method. Tie Your Mother Down's riff is the cleverest I have ever come across, and this song is the only example of it's use I have ever found. G Fsharp CB - it's a mirror image about Eb - half way between the two A tonics. I could write paragraphs about it.

Thanks very much. I find it disappointing to play a real piano because there just isn't the bass. John Deacon was a very subtle player just keeping the song moving without drawing attention to himself.

I agree with you, 100%! Though I like both playing the grand and an electric... John, I think was the underdog. He's quiet but he knows he's very good and he never stepped on Freddie's singing and Brian's guitar solos. I just love hearing the bass in a song. John Deacon and John Entwistle are my fave bass players. I'm gonna learn this instrument because of them...
