I flew in one of these from KONT - KSFO. This plane is so freaking small! I loved the flight home because no one sat next to me. But the flight to KSFO was packed. My arm was touching the other passenger the whole time. And the windows are so low, so if you want to look outside you have to bend down far. I hate crj-200s. Way to small.
@3riversrambler I hate these things too. Way too cramped and way too bumpy. The Embraer though are my favorites right behind the 737s. Quiet, roomy, and comfortable for a coach seat.
@188043 and 3riversrambler i understand it is small but the crj is a quiet aircraft i can bearly hear them when i am in the parking lot of an airport and i aint deaf. You prefer that or a noisi ATR?. and they are very smooth at climbing now you are talking abaut a crj-200 My dad flies one and he says is quiet but is a piece of crap (Literaly) get on a CRJ-700 or a 900 they are much better. I know crj 200 is bumpy. But my opinion is that is a perfect aircraft to go from TYS-CLT(45 MINUTES).
@bea27997 I will agree with you that these planes are pretty quiet (though it depends on where you are sitting, i got stuck in back last time & it wasn't that quiet). But i don't like any of the regional jets. Any plane with engines mounted at the back bugs me. American's MD80s freak me out too (though those are a lot older too). The plane of this type i've been on was an Embraer ERJ, but it's basically the same as the CRJ.
@bea27997 I've been on a Continental Dash-8 Q400 and that was a prop-jet, but it was still decently quiet. So yes, there are prop jets i would prefer over a regional jet. But i think the perfect regional aircraft is the Embraer 170. I fly on those from IAH to PHL and i've never had a problem on there, and i'm a nervous flier. Quiet, roomy, and smooth. There was 1 flight on a 170 that got bumpy enough that the flight attendants had to be seated, but we were flying through a thunderstorm then.
Hmm, goin w/ Mesa on this one...flaps remain at 20 because they have not complied w/ a flap SB. SkyWest has complied, so we bring flaps up to 0 in increments during the after landing check. Either that or it's a new FO. We're doing about 4 things at the same time once clear of the runway, takes a little getting used to.
no it isnt... CRJs are designed to be at 50 feet over the threshold and touch down between the 1,000 foot mark and the end of the touchdown zone... this was normal...
If its in United colors it could be either Skywest callsign Skywest or Mesa Airlines callsign Air Shuttle... Air Wisconsin is also in partnership with US Airways..
I highly DOUBT it! United DOES NOT own CRJ's! Other airlines like Skywest, Mesa, Gojet, do the flying with the CRJ's in United Colors. So you sir are not a pilot for United or any airline
United Airlines have contracts with regional carriers that will fly in United Express Color schemes. Delta has delta connection on ASA, Skywest, Comair, Freedom planes etc.

SkyWest airplanes do not have the markings on the flaps to visually determine what flap setting you are at. It's MESA.

@3riversrambler CRJ´S are the most quiet airplanes you can get on. You prefer that or a noisi atr or an airbus.
also the crj´s are very smooth and at climbing. I understand is not very big but is a good aircraft for regional flights.

@3riversrambler i flew a crj 200 today for the first time and im pretty sure some dumb bitch like u doesnt deserve to be one such a fascinating plane

yes they do they operate them from denver to aspen (united express) crj 200s, unless you were talking about united AIRLINES not united express
B0eing1992 3 years ago
United Pilots Don't fly those planes. They are owned by Skywest/Gojet/Mesa. We all know you are a 15 year old impersonator.
golfstud13 3 years ago
i just turned 16 so im not a impersonator , but then why do the crj's that have united express written on them
