  • love this song...always

  • Hankaka.....I'm only familiar with 3 versions of Kui's composition: Don Ho's; Andy Williams's & Robin Wilson's. I'll see if I can pull this version up on You Tube. By the way, the promo of Don's is on the Reprise label. Am still on the hunt!!

  • I took in one of Don's shows when he was under contract at Duke Kahanamoku's in the International Market Place in Waikiki. Year? 1969. Don did this song. I have never forgotten it. Then he did it on an LP with a young lady named Robin Wilson. The two of them turned my knees to Jell-o! There is a 45 rpm promo out there of this number. I'm looking for it. I cherish Don's music. Andy's rendition is just fine.

What a tribute to Kui Lee & a superbly composed love song

  • @44Forty1 Have you tried listening to Tribute to the Makaha Son's of Ni'ihau , I'll remember you, version?

  • who was it that wrote this song Andy or Elvis?

  • @jimP71, this was written by Kui Lee. This is considered a song from Hawaii.

  • Andy is one of my all time favourite male vocalists..So many great songs.

  • A very nice version of the song. Thanks for posting.
