  • I can't seem to have a reasonable debate with a mormon apologist every time i trap them in a question they block me and end the discussion ya am affraid of them alright.

  • @Ingle92protege he blocked me too. lol

  • LOL @ MORMONS!!!

  • @Ingle92protege yes, but isn't it great he is there. if you ever have a moment of doubt. His supreme assininess(not a word) pushes you right back home and i am sure the holy spirit has a lot to do with that.

  • Every one pulles from scriptures selectivly

  • @utgeekmattie1 Absolutley, God bless you.

  • I dont think the officials of the Church even know who you are. Why would they go to your 7 viewer program?

  • "Byu professors and apologists dont represent the LDS church - and cant stand for the church... Only give their opinion and interpretation..." isn't that what all churches and sects do? Are there not a lot of churches and sects for this reason? Everyone has a slightly different interpretation of the same writings. The mormonanswerman does film himself and I don't agree with everything he says. However I'm watching another guy film himself - and I don't agree with everything he says either.

  • New religions, same lies, plain and simple.

  • everyone who is against mormons are in serious trouble...like wow its clear where the Kingdom of God is...in all these other ministries where ppl are paid to preach?...where people bash other religions? where you think faith alone saves you? FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD....we are told to WORK out our salvation..can you sin countlessly and then the day before judgement say sorry and things will be okay? we are here to be like Christ and Christ was perfect..the Gospel is simple..you`ll all learn

  • Actually ppl who r against mormonism are not in trouble. 95% of churches out there believe in one Eternal God who is came as Jesus in the flesh "Ishiah 9 -He will be called everlasting father" ppl can be against a church that teaches that Jesus is ur spirit brother & that he was made that he is a seperate God from the father who by the way has a wfie. not saying paul is against the LDs but certianly had to deal w/ false Jesus's in his time.

  • Has any one else noticed Shawns tick when he conscientiously tell s a lie?

  • DId u just hear what Shawn said? He is willing to let any mormon representive to go on his show and tell the truth about mormonism. He also said he would love them to come on his show and tell him what an evil man he is.....

  • @SpeckCipher

Could you point out in the video where Shawn ticked?

  • haha mormonanswerman.

  • @cezza57

    Haha, that's hilarious lol

  • I think my newer videos are learning from the mistakes of long long videos of the past. Hopefully you can watch and not get "really really bugged"

  • Things THAT bad for you, testimonyman, that you have to come here to an "anti" site to drum up viewers??

Maybe it would help if you REALLY WERE an "answerman" instead of an "EXCUSESman"--SUBSTANCE and honesty instead of "what-ifs" and "maybies", might draw the crowds you seek...

  • I'm a missionary. If I went to a door, and the person of the house there wanted nothing to do with my message, but wanted to tell me how horrible Joseph Smith was, for instance, I would respectfully say no thank you, and go on my merry way to another home. I would not stop, I would move as fast as I could to the next house.

Why should it be any different on the internet? Every one of you here I have blocked, you are right, but you're exmormons, and you have NO INTEREST in what I have to say.

  • All you want to do is bring up the horrible spin on my religion, my faith. Why would I want to put that on there? I might as well take you along with me door to door, so I can bear testimony of Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon, etc., and then you can spout off on Joseph Smith using a rock in a hat, all the alleged adultery, all the character assassination.

No, I don't want you going door to door with me, don't you get that? Don't take it so personal.

  • It sounds to me like YOU are the one "taking it personally"! You blocked US--not the other way round.

I did my share of harrassing people by tracting (the most worthless work I've ever done--except maybe hosing down pigs at the stake farm), and won't ever do it again, WITH your testiphony, or without it.

  • Hostile...and why you were blocked...

  • So sensitive...Always looking to be "offended", testimonyman? That way you can run home and cry on mommy's shoulder about how PERSECUTED you are. God has a special place prepared for self-agrandizing hypocrites like you.

  • That must be the FIRST thing you've EVER said that is true, moanswermano!--"...no interest in what" you say. Well said!!

Everything you say is simply direct quotes from FAIR or memorized mantra from sunday school. What's to be interested in?? We former Mormons, have this same malarkey stuffed down our throats for way too long.

We left with HUGE unanswered Q?. Why should we listen to one who suffers from Delusions of Grandure?--YOU?

    Get some help...

  • Hostile...and why you were blocked...

  • I think it's time testskriftene blocked YOU, testimonyman--give you a taste of your own methodology.

    Block moansman for spreading SPAM!!

    Not really!

You are a GREAT example to all those non-Mormons here on why they should stay the hell away from MormonISM.

I hope you are NOT blocked. Every lame word out of your mouth confirms our points on the retarded nature of Mormonism.

  • Crikey! I keep finding that all these negative comments come from ex members. I finally find some that I think maybe genuinely interested with sincere questions and what do you know? They turn out to be ex members too. No wonder you loose interest in responding to their comments.

  • Doesn't answerman block everyone that disagrees with him?

  • I dont know - I was blocked for a while - dont know if he unblocked me....

  • @testskriftene He blocked me haha. Didn't even know that Shawn Mccraney talked about him. I've seen every episode but I forgot about it. He posted on my profile how I was sinning by promoting Shawn McCraney's tv show.

  • I've been blocked...

  • You never were blocked.

  • :) Thanks for saying that.

I do, though, wonder why my comments don't register onto any of your video-comments?

  • I've never seen a comment come in from you. It may be that youtube did it. They have a feature that after a few comments you have to enter their special letters. If you are on the comments page, and not on the video page, you might not get the message, and then when you send your comment in, nothing happens. Refresh on the video page, and you'll probably see that youtube request.

  • Ah, I see. I'll be givin' it another go.

    Be ready! :)

  • You would be surprized how many Mormons block. Some of the sites I personally have never posted at these other sites before.

BTW, Did you forget that Jesus mocked?

  • Isolation is another strong sign of a religious cult.

  • You mean like the isolation of the Children of Israel following Moses out into a wilderness for 40 years? THAT kind of cult?

  • You are not under the law and you are not the chosen people of God. Joseph Smith stole the names, identity and priesthood of the Jews. True saints become children of God at spiritual rebirth and were never, ever, limited to heritage, skin color or gender.

I suggest you should stop using Moses as a crutch. Mormons fail every day at keeping the laws given to Moses.

Cult is not a bad thing.

After the cross, Isolation is the evil word.

  • Yep. And everybody that he can't answer.

  • YEP!!

Morm. Answerman blocked me. I wasn't swearing or yelling or being disrespectful. I simply explained positions din opposition to his, taken from Mormonism's OWN WRITINGS.

He is one dishonest dink! He exemplifies the saying that "If your are comfortable with a lie, you'll never find the truth."

  • No. Just read the comments. There are lots and lots of comments from people who don't agree. Its when exmormons try to mock the temple, try to mock my faith, or use profanity to express their anger, that's when they get the block. I think that's fair. I really DO wish you guys could have played fair and respectful, but you didn't.

  • Well, whatever the reason for blocking, I want to thank you. You did me/us a favor.

I was able to go to and participate in FAR more interesting and stimulating videos.

I've never understood why LDS, Inc. allows such uneducated dingbats to represent the LDS faith...very curious.

If you were worth anything at all CES'd hire you.

The Mormon Witch is dead, answerman.

Go do something worth while--like pitch a tent rather than your false beliefs...

    Merry Christmas anyway! ;)

  • Hostile...and why you were blocked...

  • More spam from the testiphonyman...

  • mormonanswerman, when you state that you block those you "mock your faith," may I ask does not Mormonism do the same thing? I have never been a Mormon, however, I have had Mormon missionaries tell me to my face that what I believe is wrong, and that I must become a Mormon to have the whole truth, much in the same way a Roman Catholic or a Jehovah Witness would say. I do agree with you that the use of profanity from either side is wrong. But again, don't Mormons "mock" other people's believes?

  • I've brought up things to mormonanswerman. He's more like a MormonNOANSWERman. The worst goobly gob I've seen EVER. He's the ultimate spinster! No doubt. And I've heard McCraney many times, invite church leaders on the show but they never come. WHY? Well, when you have irrefutable evidence of things that are incorrect being taught through their scripture, doctrines, & worse...their "prophets" (if you will), they don't want to be caught with their pants down & there's no PR person to help on tv

  • Shawn would WIN if say, a lowly humble unofficial mormon apologist such as myself ever went on his show. Shawn has the advantage that he doesn't represent anything, and has nothing to lose. Nothing at all. But what would I do if Shawn asked questions or brought up sacred temple discussions and I refrained, holding those things sacred? You see, he wins the "debate" and only an idiot would go on his show to try and defend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

  • He told me that he would have upper echalon Mormons only, becaus THEY would more likely deal with Mormon Doctrine and history, rather than with non-entities like you who only deal in their own OPINIONS of what LDS doctrine/history REALLY entails.

He has said before that if he were asked to not discuss temple things that he would comply.

Unlike Paul Dunn, you can take Shawn at his word.

  • More spam from the testiphonyman...

  • By the way. The "cat's out of the bag", testiphonyman--the TEMPLE bag. We can go about anywhere on the internet and find anything and everything we wanted (or didn't want) to know about the temple--ALL those dirty little sacred/secret

rituals, which I found to be boring as hell.

If LDS, inc. were to reveal it all, it would have about as much impact as Obama's promise to end the war. Much ado about NOTHING!!!

  • You are right. Mormonanswerman is brilliant and really does answer many book of Mormon questions.

I think it is really funny how you go on about these people videoing themselves an putting it on u tube.

    What exactly are you doing?

A bit hypocritical don't you think?

  • Both have videos of themselves.... Nothing wrong with that....

Actually... this show was not meant for youtube... it was only later that I edited the show put it out... the guys running the show is not doing it....

  • He wouldn't answer any of my BOM questions.

  • He never answered any of mine, either. I think I asked him about Nephi murdering Laban and how, after cutting off Laban's head, there was no blood drenching Laban's clothing, that Nephi, supposedly took off the body and dressed himself in!?

He bares his testiphony as if THAT was an "answer". He should be called "Mormon Testimony Man".

  • I believe 80 percent of the lds youtubers block. The other 20 percent are lds apologists.

  • I think you are right, awolLDS. There are a whole group of other LDS vids that won't allow ANY discussion. So much for an open, above-board and honest organization...

  • I give way more discussion than most, I believe. I am not afraid of any of the questions. What I don't like is the disrespectful innuendo against prophets, the mocking, you know, the stuff of anonymous people.

You SEE me. I am no hider.

  • "innuendo"??

Do you mean of sort of inuendo thrown about by the LDS Church out of the halls of Mormondum in SLC, Utah, against the Catholic Church--"the WHORE of the EARTH"?--the Pastors talked about as "cockatrices hatched in hell"?--their churches called "abominations" and "corrupt"? Is THAT the kind of "inuendo" that you so arrogantly and haughtily speak of, answerman?

Do you recall the warning to those who live in glass houses??

I'm sure you'll be okay tho,- when you grow up...

  • See the hostility? thus the block...

  • I think even MORE should block. There is no reason why in a missionary effort that a missionary has to give voice to all the doubtful arguments. That's your job, and make your OWN videos to do that. Surely that's why I am here, to counter the untruths and join the discussion, but not provide a voice or forum for opposition to say terrible things about my faith. I don't have to go there. I calmly hang up the phone, and then block the number if they are saying obscene things.

  • Yes, noansman. In the early 50's the parallel to this "blocking" nonsense was book burning. No doubt your father and mother were participants in those book burnings. since bigotry and stupidity run in families. If you had the power to snuff out any and all things that did not paint LDS in the most positive light, I have NO DOUBT you'd do it. That same LDS mindset was the genesis of the Mountain Meadows affair.

If Monsoon told you to kill all exmos, you'd do it, right?

    Zealotry!...wow...

  • No, the analogy is not book burning. Its not censureship. Its called hanging up the phone, and dialing #62 to block the last number because you didn't like the hostile nature of the call, or the harassment, etc.

If testskriftine doesn't like what I post here, he can block and I don't care. Apparently you LIKE hearing from me, but I'll be honest, I don't like what you have said much. But I'm on your turf here, so...

    I'll leave now.

  • Just like in the movie Holy Grail, eh?--"Run away, run away!!"

I don't blame you for taking the coward's way out. What else COULD you do?--stay and discuss the points of this video like an adult?? Not likely...

Your opening salvo was an invitation for a fight, testiphonywoman, so don't blame me for responding in kind to your bologne.

Go back and continue hiding behind the facade of your phony name and worthless videos.

Merry Smithmas, tho. It's Dec 23rd., Joe's barfday!!

  • They must toe the party line. Soft or patriotic music. Made up stories about Johny breaking his leg and then joining the church.

Reality will only be allowed if it conforms to the Mormon dreamland. Everything else is blocked!

  • Maybe there was blood on the clothes, and because it was night it did not even become an issue.

  • That's strange. He normally does.

  • Reply to 2morrowman: It depends on what you ask him. If you ask him about LDS doctrine or history, he will give you the answer that the LDS church would give you. But if you ask him a question that reminds him that the LDS church, doctrine, and history are filled with errors, contradictions, and lies, you get blocked.

I think that he probably knows that Mormonism is a sham and maybe his Youtube channel is to help him convince himself otherwise.

"THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE!"

  • Really? I thought it was the other way around. I see that he answers many questions but no matter how much evidences he puts up it won't help convince anit mormons anything. They just seem to brush all those evidences aside and say they don't exist. Which is of course what you say we do. So the real answer must be revealed not by flesh and blood but by the Spirit which is as Christ taught and which is what we are taught thru the Book of Mormon also.

  • What you're saying is that you are not interested in facts or the truth as long as you believe your leaders and have a good feeling about it.

Ignorance is NOT bliss, it is bondage!

  • No that is not what I said. I am saying that when the Spirit teaches the truth then it is truth indeed. When I merely rely on evidence, though they appear to be true, they may prove otherwise in time. Evidences are good but not the only method of me gaining a testimony of the gospel. I know that the book of Mormon is true by the Spirit and these other evidences only help confirm my faith but they are not the means of my faith.

  • Do you believe that even though Joseph Smith made false prophesies and had nothing to verify his story except for his word?

Tell me, did Jesus return before 1891? Joseph Smith prophesied in the Lord's name that He would, as recorded in the History of the church vol 2 page 182.

Read Deuteronomy 18:20-22 and choose which you will believe: Joseph Smith (con-man, false prophet, and whoremonger) or the Bible.

  • Comment removed

  • There you go again changing the subject and quoting something completely out of context. It was not recorded by Joseph Smith but someone else and nowhere does it state that a prophecy was made in the name of the Lord. In fact in the Doctrine and Covenants it clearly states that no man knoweth the hour of the coming of the Son of Man, not the angels of Heaven even. I believe what God reveals to me by His Spirit. All the name calling and lies that you tell won't make the church untrue.

  • The prophesy WAS made by Joseph Smith and IS recorded in official LDS church history. Doesn't the contradition bother you? Don't the words "History OF THE CHURCH" pose a problem either way? Is it the LDS church that is wrong about this or is it Joseph Smith that was wrong? If you say the church, what else have they wrongly taught you? If Joseph Smith, then what about the first and second visions, BOM, etc. What if both are wrong?

Jesus is enough! He is the way, truth and life!

  • This is interesting. You are relying on the information in the book History of the church to try and prove the church false. But you are not willing to rely on all the information in that same book which confirm that Joseph Smith was a prophet. For us the book History of the Church while useful for reference material is not church doctrine. A lot of it was recorded by someone other than Joseph Smith. JS was not quoting prophecy 24/7 and was not doubt left to form his own opinions on some things.

  • If Joseph gave 1, "just 1" false prophecy, he was never doing the work of God.

Joseph failed more than 1 time.

  • Be careful how you judge because with that same judgement by which you judge shall you be judged also.

Try googling failed prophecies of the bible.

Now both you and I know that there are reasons that some of these prophecies may seem to be unfulfilled. Shouldn't we offer that same leniency to all prophets?

Aside from the fact that not every word that Joseph Smith said was by way of prophecy even though people claimed it to be.

  • The prophets before Jesus warned the Jews about keeping the law, talked about the Lords identity and his forth coming.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all of Josephs prophecies concerned the travails of men and church business.

I am truely sorry that you have minimized the cross and live under legalism. Biblical judgement is focused at the wicked. The children of God, "through faith" that is counted as righteousness, will live with the eternal God and be rewarded.

  • Believe me Joseph Smith as with all the prophets before him has warned us about keeping the commandments and enduring to the end. Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Redeemer, the only name under heaven whereby I can return to my Heavenly Fathers presence. He atoned for my sins in the garden of Gethsemany and on the cross He gave His life for me. Three days later He arose from His grave and became the firstfruits of them that slept. He will return again in Glory to usher in the mellenium. He lives.

  • I do not minimize the cross, nor do I worship the cross but I do worship the Saviour who died on the cross but is no longer dead. The cross is a symbol of His death but I know He lives and I worship Him who lives yet I know that I am not perfect and need His forgiveness and atoning sacrifice daily.

  • None of these Biblical translation errors enforce any Mormon doctrine.

What does the Bible say about the cross?

1Cr 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

    You need ordinances?

    Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

The cross is more important than Gethsemane.

  • The Jews of old were under the law of Moses and the prophets warned them if they failed keeping the law. Joseph Smith started a new church and reinstated some of the old law and a list of new laws. In Josephs new religion, he rejected the New Testament, "the gospel of Christ". stole the indentity of the Jews and placed the membership back in the Old Testament.

  • 2morrowman, would you be so kind and state a failed prophecy from the Bible? As a side note, did you know Jehovah Witnesses state this exact thing?

Also, concerning judging, Jesus went on to state for us to beware of false prophets. Christians are warned by Christ and the apostle Paul to judge those things which people say are from God. We are to follow the example of the Bereans in Acts 17:10-12 by testing religious claims against what the Bible states. Thanks.

  • No because I don't want to shake your faith in the bible because even though I googled it and there are many I don't have a problem with them because it doesn't diminish my faith in the bible or the prophets whatever and I hope you would be the same.

Likewise there are many inconsistancies in the bible if you chose to google them but again I don't care. I am not trying to discredit the bible but people use that same approach to try and discredit our church. Keep up with your faith my friend

  • 2morrowman, thanks for your response. If I may ask...when you googled those sites which, according to them, show apparent false prophecies, and apparent inconsistencies in the Bible, did it ever occur to you to that perhaps those people who run those sites, may have an ax to grind with the bible for one reason or another? Also, did you really check out their claims for these assertions, or because you "don't care," you never looked at the possibility they could be wrong?

  • Jpgr. Absolutely yes. I know that many of them have an ax to grind and there are some few who are genuinely sincere. I have studied enough to know that some of them are wrong in their assertions about the bible and some simply don't understand what they are reading therefore it doesn't make sense to them. There are a few that are correct and we don't have answers for them. I don't care about them because I know the bible is true. I accept that I won't understand everything.

  • 2morrowman, thanks again for your reply. I'm sorry for keep asking questions, but I need to to understand your assertions. You state: "There are a few that are correct and we don't have answers for them." If I may ask, who is "we"? Are you suggesting that there is no one in the entire Christian church who cannot answer these "correct" objections to the Bible? Or is the "we", the Mormon church? Also, how did you come to the conclusion that "those few" are correct in what they say? Thanks again.

  • Jpgr I am speaking for myself and if you know someone that has been thru and studied every question or objection to the bible and answered them all then that is great. For me personally what I am saying is that because of my testimony of the bible I don't need to have every little question answered before I can exercise faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore I am more interested in studying the scriptures as opposed to looking at sites or literature that try to discredit the bible

  • Jpgr In the same way that there are all these sites out there to try and discredit the bible there are many also that try to discredit the LDS church. I do not need to have every question answered about the bible before I can accept it and neither do I have to have every question answered about the LDS church. I would better spend my time studying the scriptures than every little bit of anti mormon literature going around.

  • 2morrowman, thanks for your response. Your answer does raise other questions, such as your personal testimony concerning the Bible, and, at least from reading what you wrote, why you wouldn't want to have all your questions answered concerning the Bible? I mean we are talking about your eternal life aren't we?

But putting those questions aside, you evoked that term I hear a lot of Mormons use...the term being anti-mormon. Don't you think that when you use that term, you presuppose that...

  • when a Christian who wishes to challenge a LDS, that they are somehow motivated by hate? Isn't that kind of assumption borne more out of laziness on your part, rather than the result of critical thinking skills? I mean, can't a LDS be called a anti-Christian by using that kind of logic? Why is a Christian labeled an anti-mormon for sharing what they believe to be true with a LDS, but a LDS are not anti- Christian for sharing what they believe to be true with Christians? This is not consistent.

  • I never mentioned the word hate. An axe to grind was a term used by yourself and is probably a very good choice of words. You are presuming an awful lot. Are you an ex Mormon?

If I did not have a testimony of the bible then I would not be a member of the LDS church. Is your testimony of the bible based on critical thinking alone?

Please don't call me lazy I might get a complex. Did I not say that some are sincere? Did you not say that people have an axe to grind re the bible. Are you lazy too?

  • The only question that I want to answer is the sincere inquiry for truth. I have a testimony that that book is true, and we can talk about that.

  • "MAYBE" there was blood on Laban's clothes??? MAYBE because it was night time it wasn't an issue???

Perfect!! THIS is the way you answer ALL questions on your vids---"MAYBE this and MAYBE that!--a flat out guess!!--just like your mentors over at FAIR.

And you wonder WHY we're not interested in what you have to say?? LOL!!!

Even the reasons god gave for the murder were lame reasons. In fact this was about THE WORST example of "LAME" that Joey EVER attributed to God!!! Holy s**t...

  • Testiphonyman said:

"The only question that I want to answer is the sincere inquiry for truth."

    Now THAT funny!!

That's the very reason that I, and abt 100K other members per yr, left Mormonism--because "truth in Mormonism" was CONSPICUOUSLY ABSENT!!!

BoM true? You won't even consider the science that demonstrates the falsity of it.

You'd rather believe the words of a KNOWN con artist rather than the obvious facts. (Shades of the Catholic Church vs Galileo!!)

  • lol, Shawn mentioned mormonanswerman.
