  • I love the hair

  • Other elements also must be named after the greatest geniuses, like Mx = Marxium, Eg = Engelsium, Ln = Leninium, St = Stalinium, Mao = Maoium, Bz = Brezhnevium, Kh = Khruschevium.

  • @bolshevikML lol

  • Waiting for Poliakoffium to be discovered.....

  • @tmafkap Uuo's possible official IUPAC name?

  • how did i get here

  • Einsteinium is the heaviest element whose appearance is known. Apparently it's theoretically possible to make macroscopic quantities of the next few, but in practice it's only been done with Einsteinium.

  • This guy's so interesting!

  • I did not know that an atomic bomb is powerful enough to produce Einsteinium. These exotic elements are rather just academical because their half life is so short.

  • Comment removed

  • @oomblikkies 471.7 days for einsteinium ain't that short.

  • They need a Planckium!

  • hey if one of you on youtube do this let me just say *****

  • i Think atomic nr 99 should be called Wayne-Gretzkyum

  • Comment removed

  • @yellowdart137 it's COMIN

  • So I learnt almost nothing about Einsteinium itself, other than it was first found in the blast crater of a nuclear bomb.... Thanks, I suppose?

  • oh dear your students must've adored you!

  • 4 people don't like einstein

  • his hair seems to grow bigger in some videos. i think that thing is growing.

  • You look cooler than einstien soz about spelling

  • @MrFizzypop10 why on earth was this man marked as spam? because he made a simple error and it double posted?????

  • Comment removed

  • I bet you lot are life and soul of a party! lol

  • @strange6 Ha! depends what party he attends :D

  • anybody heard of ChuckNorrisium

  • @owen217141 I hear it is reactive to epic facial hair :P

  • @owen217141 Yes its the largest atom of them all and is extremely reactive to other atoms

  • anybody heard of ChuckNorrisium

  • @owen217141 yeah its very rare people say it only appears when chuck norris hugs someone

  • has a combination of metals ever reached 6,000 or more degrees?

  • The professor is my favorite person in the world

  • The only equivalence between Professor Поляков and Einstein is both are jewish and both are scientists... and the bushy hair, of course!

  • "Einstein when he was young looked nothing like me" - Best joke ever.

  • Einsteinium doesn't stick around long enough for us to study when it is created, so we really don't know much about it other than it is there

  • scientists are so cool

  • He is a cool dude.

  • We don't even get to see the fucking element?

  • @Matthew2400 because you'd have to make a nuclear bomb first, blow it up and then collect the debris. lol

  • He could at least have the courtesy to stick out his tongue at us.

  • Einstienium has absolutly no use :(

  • i learn t more about that guy that looks like Einstein than the element

  • you just could of named your show Einstain - Periodic Table of Videos

  • so what are the properties of this element you guys just talked about how it was named

  • I remember Einsteinium being on the periodic table during my GCSEs. We never did touch much on them in chemistry but I always used to ask questions of the chemistry teacher regarding this and the other more exotic elements because the standard chemistry stuff was so easy as to get boring after a time.

  • This is a little bit ironic, einstein didnt care very much for the atomic bomb.

  • Looks nothing like Einstein.

But his videos are good. :)

  • Looks nothing like Einstein.

But his videos are good. :)

  • E99 :)

  • @EMPPT Katorga-12

  • @EMPPT My thought exactely when I first saw the element number :)

  • I thought Einstein invented the Nuclear Bomb which would make sense if it was found after a nuclear bomb.

  • stick your tounge out in a video :P

  • he looks so awesome when i get older i want a head of hair like that

  • The f elements are on the periodic table in GCSE, just nobody bothers saying anything about them.

  • About as interesting as watching grass grow

  • @strange6 Stop watching the videos then you thick cunt.

  • Your hair reminds people of Einstein!

  • I've always wondered how einstien stuck his tongue out so far. All the way down to his chin almost.

  • @stonerj0e does ego mean afro?

  • Isn't Einsteinium named that because it's a metal found after one of the atomic bombs and Einstein helped discover the atom bomb?

  • no, Einstein lived in Europe at the time, the US developed it.

  • Hmm, neat never knew that. I think thought that Einsteinium is a metal after the bomb went off or something.

  • Why did Einstein stick out his tongue anyway?

  • ...for dramatic effect.

  • @chimpanoo they told him to smile, but he decided to make a silly face

  • i think they should start doing videos on isotopes or something.. :P

  • According to the Internet this element has no practical uses. But who knows... who knows.. oh I can't tell, I'm not supposed to...

  • Could someone please tell me something about Einsteinium?

  • well, since it's created by a nuclear explosion and only in very small amounts. it also radioactive and don't exist for long, not much is known besides that they exist.

  • Yeah, thanks.

    I found out myself.

It needs 471 days to be halfed, it has 252 nucleons with 99 of them being protons. It has a silver color...

  • Einstein did have something to do with Einsteinium, though very indirectly. He indirectly helped to build the first nuclear bombs, and Einsteinium was found in the debris of a nuclear bomb.

  • I think he looks more like Tom Cruise

  • i learned more about his hair than

    Einstienium> :(

  • @dasgemuse google :)

  • @dasgemuse Yeah, I was like wtf this told us nothing xD

  • Hes hair isn't anything like Einsteins... Its just the same color.. Hes still cool :D

  • Agreed, this professor's hair is much curlier.

  • This is found in a nuclear reaction, like the unun elements

  • lol i think it was called Einsteinium because of what he just mentioned that it was discoverd in the result of a nuclear bomb, and we all know the formular E=MC^2

  • hair ftw!

  • i <3 professor dude

  • i <3 his hair

  • nerdiness*

  • I asked my chemistry teacher is Einsteinium was named after Einstein and he said no! What an idiot!

  • It's true -.-'

  • lol omg i love the afro guy he is so awesome!@!

  • your hair rocks man free spirit lol im not joking neither.

PS your videos are awesome and maybe they will make an element after you because these videos are genuis

  • they should call the element Einsteinium!

  • it is...

  • He is so right when he describes himself as a stereotypical scientist image

  • Funny hair? I think it's cool. I wouldn't mind looking like that when i'm as old as you are now... Which will be in a couple of decades lol.

    Nice video.

  • this Synthetic Element was Formed along with Fermium after the Nuclear Bomb test's in 1945 on Nagasaki and Hiroshima killing about 120,000 People but after the 2 had been Detonated they created a Thermonuclear Explosion which Created the 2.

Thou to Popular belief Albert Einstein did not Create the Atom Bomb or have Any Part in it's Creation that was up to the Nuclear Fission and Fusion of a "A" and a "H" Bomb Albert Einstein Simply signed a letter to FDR to Fund the Creation Name = Coincidence?

  • Tests?

  • The start made me laugh. I'm going nottingham now.

  • nah, a lot more pleasant than your average chem prof.

i honestly can't remember why i hated chemistry so much anymore.

  • Am I the only one who didn't learn what Einsteinium was from this video?

  • i subscribed too because these videos are really too nice XD

  • Yeah, but at night he goes back to his lab and rubs his hands together and says "Fools. They laughed at me but I'll destroy them all with my race of Atomic supermen!"

Or he has a cup of tea and does some light gardening.

  • He is the stereotypical scientist =P

  • yes he is.. but he is just Brillant!!.. i would like to attend a class of him :)

  • me too...

  • Well.. I'm a pinch bit disappointed. I was hoping I'd finally know what on earth Einsteinium was and and does.

  • Einsteinium was discovered in nuclear blast debris. Which means that it is not naturally occurring on earth. I'm not sure what it's used for (most likely nothing, just an observed element which they added to the periodic table).

  • Quite a lot of new elements were discovered after nuclear tests.

  • thats terrible they scream Einstein at him

  • true, but he doesnt seem to care, i like his spirit

  • I love him! Happy to have subscribed.
