still got stank and still bumping, Ray Parker Jr was on this one and you can feel his vibe, but make no mistakes about it Brick had a sound all there own. those flutes and brass still got stank. these Brothers helped put the ATL on the Map and they don't get enough due IMO. this was the cut back in the day.
yep a nice track, but not as good as ' DAZZ ' this band is good to dance to, they are as good as ' SUN ' and ' CON FUNK SHUN ' and ' LAKESIDE ' and ' BARKAYS ' , if you buy 5 albums from each group, you gonna get fit, not just your body, BUT YOUR SOUL AS WELL. If you wanna learn how to dance , listen to 'I FEEL THE GROOVE UNDER MY FEET ' by HEAVEN AND EARTH, NOW THAT IS ONE TUNE YOU CANNOT FUCK WITH, IT WILL FUCK WITH YOU, I got all twisted up, upside down, when i first heard it, now, TINGS COOL

Oh yes. Haven't heard this for MANY years but I surely remember it.
And at the time (about 1982), after already having spent a number of years sweating on dance floors, I thought this song's lyrics were overdue. I wondered why nobody had thought of this rhyme before - because a lot of us were doing just this same thing.
this reminds me of my Youth in the summertime....I was eighter rollerskating, skatebording or on my bicycle riding up & down the block with my friends, chasing down the Ice cream truck...My older Brother used to play the Sh*t out of this song....GOODTIMES
Saw them last night in Va Beach I was disappointed they didn't do this jam other than that they were cool. But Zapp turned it out get show. The night before Midnight Star turned it out...
When this album was released Brick had been off the scene for several years. This was one hell of a comeback. The project was produced by Ray Parker, Jr.
@gbrown4x4 You are so right. At first, I thought is was cause it was our music, but I had some youngens listen to some old funk and now they want to hear more and more.
tylersfs - LOL! Yes the econo-car soundsystems from KRACO! And the fun we had with 8-tracks (many of you are saying "What's an 8-track?" - see we "fortysomethings" know about "delayed gratification"; we had to wait for our favorite songs to come around on a track (unless you took a chance on "Fast Forward," if you had it, and having the deck eat your tape!). Ah, memories from "back in the day!"
tape got dirty and they would tell you to clean it with alcohol only to find out some time later that alcohol ate up tape!! the "big mouth" was no better because it offered you the sound with no close up quality clarity!!
I saw that album on 8-track on ebay it was brand new and I brought too ! sooner or later when I get a Trans Am 1978 or 1980 i'm sure as hell gonna enjoy it!
This was the jam back in the day, haven't heard this one in years probably when it was first released in the early 80's which was their last hit they had before disappeared from the music scene. That was the cool thing about Brick they made some funky, feel good music which you don't hear anymore. Thanks for posting this.
I got on board of their music back in 1976. Dusic, Dazz dazz...disco jazz. Yes, Ray Parker Jr. brought in the glossy guitar sounds on this one and they maintained to sound fab. Wow!
They're nowhere near in this present galaxy. Their supernova all seemed to have dimmed in the mid 80's. We're just earthlings able to catch some sounds now and check out their ability to funk us.
Sensacional!!!!!

Oh no!! Not the "power booster". It wasn't the famous "Sparko-static" was it? Or maybe a Kraco.
