I love the anime and manga of this series and they honestly do make a great couple. It reminds me of the relationship im in right now some. A month later we broke up (3 days before graduation), a week after that she got fired from our job for trying to steal money, and 3 months later i had been shipped off to basic training. Havent seen her since. Havent been able to hold down a relationship since due to the miscarriage. Oh well, when i do find that one special person for me, this is goin to be our song :)

The little girl he remembers from his past is a mix of naru and mutsumi, although it was naru and keitaro who made the promise to each other to begin with. Soon afterwards mutsumi had naru promise her that both of them would get into tokyo university together as well.

Actually, it was Konako and Keitaro who made the promise about getting into Tokyo University, and getting married. You'll find out later, in Love Hina Again. But yeah, you were right apart from that.

I think this is one of the muddy parts between the manga books and the anime. In the manga books keitaro made a promise to naru to go to tokyo university when they were young and mutsumi heard them make the promise and a few years later mutsumi and naru made a promise to go to tokyo university together as well. Although in the anime keitaro asked kanako to go to tokyo univerisity with him, he thought he was talking to naru.

And earlier on in the anime with moe the doll they left the whole promised girl thing up in the air like it could have been any of the four of them when mutsumi said that she was just another one of his promise girls. That part kind of confused me because I watched the anime before I finished the manga but I tend to go with what the manga says more than the anime.

If you ever get a chance to you should read the two additional love hina books. They are stories about some stuff that could have happened in the manga. The first one is while keitaro was there and the second one was during that gap in time while keitaro was in america.

I went to go see how much they would be on the site i usually go to, but its not there anymore. Up there everything was half the price it normally was.
