Brian Stack -- the nicest man in Show-Biz. Okay, I don't actually know anyone else in show-biz, but Brian dseserves all the good things that come to him.
Rule one for commenting on YouTube: read the description for the video, where you will find my acknowledgment of my poor interview skills (this having been the first interview I'd ever conducted, done at 11pm on my last night in NYC, with someone I *greatly* admire).
@TheTaskmaster - this is really embarrassing, but I don't recall writing that comment even remotely. It says I wrote it 2 years ago, but I don't remember watching this video at all. Anyway, sorry interviewer. I see your description and understand your nervousness towards someone you admire. All the best.
(i know) you must have felt like a million dollars when, at the end, brian complimented your question. you lucky dog. you must have gotten the same type of high/ feeling/ rush/ sense of fulfillment/ satisfaction that comedians get when they kill the crowd with a SOLID piece of writing/ joke. congratulations, holmes. a job well done.
did this interview take place on the set of to catch a predator and with a hidden camera? did brian get his ass tased with 500 joltting volts of buzz as he bolted/ made a run for it after realizing/ having realized that if people miscontrued his presense on chris hansen's set as an illicit attempt at sealing the deal on an illicit piece of underage ass, and that thereby his reputation might be jeaporadized/ put on the line?

People who attack others' skills as interviewers should post up a couple of their own attempts at interviewing.

Read description. Fully acknowledged. First interview ever conducted. Nervously speaking with comedy idol at 11pm in Late Night offices at 30 Rock.
Apologies, sir.

Brian seems like a particularly solid person from everything I've ever heard about him, and his bits seem to always deliver.

Rule one for interviewing someone: Don't keep saying "OK" at the person you're interviewing while they're trying to answer.
Rule two: Don't keep answering the question for them. Why do they need to be there if you're just gonna ask the questions and answer them too.

@octoberdays Chill, what's the problem? I'm surprised to see this.
It is a different style. It's not a 20-second ET interview. It's a comprehensive, conversational style like Kevin Pollak's Chat Show
