Hm. Interesting vid. The song was quite nice. Lovely job, I must say. As my opinion on the movie itself...eh, could have been MUCH better. At least though, it was better than QOTD, that movie was just a joke. Armand appears in the last 3 min, and i busted out laughing......I hate when they ruin books by making them into movies... but did anyone hear? They may be remaking Interview. It's something to look forward to, well, that or cry over.

Oops, my mistake. That was Lestat talking (or, rather, thinking) about his love for Louis. But even after Claudia's death Louis appears to bear no hatred for Lestat upon their reuinion (particularly on page 531: "... Have you come back to me, as lovers say?"... "You've come back to ME, Lestat... When I heard the first whispers... I felt something that I thought was gone forever--") can be easily construed by the reader as love shown towards Lestat.

you might want to reread the book or rewatch the movie. Louis was in love with Claudia and if you pay attention you hear Claudia call him her lover. they were in love with each other, and he loved her way more than he ever loved Armand or Lestat. that's why his life ended up the way it did after she died

All vampire relationships have a platonic sort of intimacy that transcends normalcy(see Lestat's relationship with Gabrielle, his mom) but I think it's made clear that though Claudia thought of him as more, Louis considered her his daughter more than anything else.

oh,i know. I have read the chronicles, and i am still reading them over and over again, and i`ll never get enough. You are right about his feelings for Louis, but there`s more to it. As it is for Nicolas, who lacked something else too, while he was a mortal. Their immortality is troubled by what they did and didn`t posses back then when they were mortals, too. Throughout the eternal existence they long for those things, as Louis did, mourning his brother`s death. That too affects them.

Okay, have you even read the books. They are so gay/bi!!! Louis totally loves Lestat and Lestat loves Louis. In The Tale of the Body Thief Lestat even says "The truth was, I'd envisioned pleasure, a variety of pleasures-eating, drinking, a woman in my bed, then a man." BAM!!! Lestat himself said that. That was the last Anne Rice book I read and I enjoyed it. I read the first twilight series books just to see what all the fuss was about, and gotta say, they suck. It's obviously aimed at the younger market, while Anne Rice books are for the adult market. Much clever writing.

If you read Anne Rice's other books there is a lot of bisexuality involved with her vampire characters. They like to leave that out of the movies, thankfully (no offense to homosexuals etc). Also, check out "Queen of the Damned" movie. The book has a hell of a lot more gore.

Haha yeah, Tom Cruise ruined it by joining the Scientology crap! I don't know if they were Stuart's real eyes. Were probably contacts. I was annoyed when the movie came out I bought the soundtrack and none of the songs were by Korn. But then, the other bands do a good job. It's one of my fav albums :-)
