I think this is a great modern Christmas special. I wish more cartoons were made like this and less like Sponge Bob or that weird Japanese Animation stuff.
Admittedly this is a weird movie but it's still not bad, all things considered. Some of the character redesigns bug me (Mrs. Claus and Mother Nature, specifically), but the songs are cute and I thought it was interesting to see Ma Nature's other kids. Also, this movie beats that live action Miser Brother movie mess any day.
Wait. Since when does the North Pole fall under Wind's territory? In the first movie it was stated that the North Pole is in Snow Miser's territory...what?
we're all clearly adults critiquing a children's movie. this movie was made for children who have not therefore grown up with the original rankin/bass christmas movies from the 60s. those of you with negative responses look really foolish making demands out of this movie. just enjoy it and let it go.
@TimSimm2 Or at least, they could have made him look more similar to the original Snow Miser. They got Heat Miser pretty much down but Snow Miser should have been a little more crooked in the knees with a larger head.
when i was little i always wondered why the elves of these specials made only wooden toys while me and most other kids i knew got plastic toys lol. Now with even more high tech toys like xbox 360s, Wiis ,toy computized robots,vtech toys etc i wonder if kids wonder why the toys made in the santas workshop are so different then the toys they have or see in stores. Or do kids not notice?
@girlstorm09 i'm sure my kid will grow up with a "Thing-O-Matic" so if he doesn't just assume the North Pole has a better one, then it wouldn't be that big of a stretch anyway.
