I don't understand how them having 10 years age wise on DC affects their album sales. I love DC. But TLC could never be recreated. They may not have amazing voices like DC, but those voices are common these days.. well not Beyonce's. But DC could be recreated. TLC was too unique and diverse to ever be recreated. @anjelheaven Well I know about real estate and its looks like Tionne was lying to cover her tracks. She "Claims" she knew nothing about ever owning the estate in Duluth, but her and Mack Ten's signature on on the closing documents. Unless a ghost writer claiming to her was in the closing procedures she has a case. I cant understand why people lie about losing there homes. Its not the end of the word. She filed chapter 13 before.

The home (which she only lived in while married) WAS NOT foreclosed so why are you still harping on it? @Eriq7001 Btw, it's kind of hard for a store to make a profit when it's been closed for 3 years. You see, while you were ready to revel in someone's failure you overlooked all the facts. In 2006 Tionne was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumor which took surgery and few years to recuperate. Therefore, she closed the store in the midst of her trial. Peace and blessings! =)

She came up with the bright colors, condoms, Album Cd names, etc. Plus she wrote a lot of the material (including her own raps). Left Eye was my favorite of the three althought after the first cd her role was diminished as "guest rapper". As far Tionne..there was nothing special about her - except she sounded like a computerized robot on CRACK!

This message board is to hot to ignore. First off Tionne Watkins has a solo album coming out this fall. It will feature work with some of teh hottest current hip hop producers and features a lot of guest appearances. I have mixed feelings about it. I dont think Tionne's popularity is that great and widespread. Vocally she is limited in range. However im curious to know why she going solo now. It was reported she is broke and needed to go back to work to make money.

I don't understand how them having 10 years age wise on DC affects their album sales. I love DC. But TLC could never be recreated. They may not have amazing voices like DC, but those voices are common these days.. well not Beyonce's. But DC could be recreated. TLC was too unique and diverse to ever be recreated. A lot of girls groups tried to copy TLC like 3LW, 702, Blaque.. but they never had the success TLC did. There will always be good singers, but never another TLC.

I get you don't attribute them to legends, but many people do. Billboard also ranked TLC AND DC as two of the greatest musical trios of all time next to the supremes. They have over 27 awards over their career between grammys, vma, soul-train awards, Billboard, American Music Award, Soul train lady of soul, and some others but I couldn't find it right away. They also have the highest grossing US tour. So TLC has gotten credit, they just aren't around anymore so they don't seem as prestigious.
