I saw the concert last night in Pomona, and monokuro was one of the best acts before The Pillows. The vocalist is freakin cool, and in his words "I'm crazy guy!"
I went to see the Pillows last night at Slims, and the drummer that played last night with monokuro was REALLY CUTE. he's not in this video though, so i'm guessing he was just a replacement drummer. ):
@phillisphin Nope but I thought the drummer at the Slim's was pretty cool. I actually got a picture with him at the end of the show! XD But what I really wanted was a picture with the guy in the glasses who was guitarist. Heh.
Went to see the Pillows in San Francisco last night, they, pop chocolat, and noodles opened for them. I liked Monokuro the best of the three, but they played this song a lot harder and faster, the lead singer was nuts! Nothing compared to the pillows though, but definitely a rising band!! And yes, they are signed by the label belonging to the Pillows. The lead singer takes bands that he likes under his wing, essentially. Their bassist even played for the pillows that night!!
Believe it or not, they actually belong to the label Delicious Label which is headed by the members of the Pillows. The majority of the bands under the Label sound just like the pillows!

Monokuro was so fast and hard and like 4 songs straight no break <3 what an amazing concert !!
