It was definitely the best produced song - listen to the studio version where all of the notes are hit - this version is lacking exact tone and lacking a bit of energy from the singers. The fire twirlers are great though. provides excellent background. But politics is probably the real reason it lost. It just wasn't Finland's turn to win. Anyway we have all heard of Waldo's People now and I will sit up and listen when I hear that name again.

The only reason I can think why it didnt win is that the vocals were slightly off and maybe during rehearsals they didn't hit the notes and consequently they were not one of the favourites - or were they?

Alexander Rybak's song relies on violin to play the chorus so of course it is not going to miss the notes if he plays it right.

I'm Finnish, and I was pretty sure we could be at least in the top 10 with this song. There has been some discussion about Eurovision, and I don't know anyone who liked Norway's song.
