I think you intentionally are finding problems (issues) with it. 1st, a manufacturer doesn't not need to tell you what to use it for. That's why you do the research, look at your gear & then say yes or no to it working for you. This pack is perfect for me. It's actually my camera bag. I have my DSLR in there, I have a small plastic container with snacks for the kids. I've worn it all day on photo walks & never had to tighten it. I use the stabilizer strap & it holds the pack nice & snug in a co
1. Your a dumbass. 2. Then take the outside strap off. 3. WTF....you need instructions for a back pack? 4. Knife outside for quick access...gearSLINGER 5. Most people carry guns with these packs and a ruger lcp mag will fit. 6. Tighten the strap 7. Again, your a dumbass. 6. Ventilation channel...point taken 7. 6. Attach some vlecro to the inner pocket to hold it shut when vertical
Reviewers of Maxpedition products tend to only mention the good things because most of them are getting the items for free from the company. If you compare the internal organization and design of most Maxpedition packs with other brands such as Camelback and even 5.11 it's easy to realize they are not really that good value.
To keep the pack from falling use the stabilizer strap. And i used the bungie cord for a small jacket if hiking. Keeps it attached to the pack perfect.
LOL... no free Maxpedition packs for you now! Nice review. Then let's talk build quality. True, Max has better build quality but they aren't 3x the build quality, but they are 3x the price. Max has figured out how to use some reviewers on YT as their "honest" shills. Hope you survive the haters that will come on now that you have trashed their brainwashing.
Well thats an issue of design with all SLING style bags that will rotate around your body! and 5 secs to lock/unlock the strap is just being lazy sorry this review is MEGA FAIL
Fatlazywife, you're absolutely right - to keep the review under 10 minutes, I didn't discuss the stabilizer strap. In my opinion, it's not a viable solution to the problem of rotation, since it removes the primary reason to consider the pack in the first place - the ability to shift the bag in front of you. (That can't be done with the stabilizer strap attached.)
This review is crap! you dont even know what all the features are used for and its making you give poor judgement on a pretty good pack. the outter most strap is the compression strap, and to stop the bag from rotating on you USE THE STABILIZER strap.
whyd u buy the sitka in the first place if ur just hating on it???

You are reviewing this tactical pack on a rose embroidered tablecloth with your pink throw rug in the background !
Who is going to take you seriously ? Nobody wants to visit your website....viral content only works on generic sites...not survival

I have the exact same pack but all the fastex hardware and zippers on mine is colormatched to the fabric... I like your black ones.
Very true about the sling rotation.... It gets awfully uncomfy carrying a 2L water bladder in it.

Excellent review! I have been having the same thoughts. After about 1½ year Im looking for a replacement for it.
Its not really a good design.
The paracord thing you removed is for tying up the zippers to deter pickpockets.
