I'd don't think they hire out of country for technicians (Guys in the jumpsuits) because those guys are college graduates with some sort of technician diploma.

I have an old fashion background in analog signal processing and electronics...strictly as a hobby these days.

I have danced around (avoided) digital electronics for years. I think for personal enrichment, as a hobbiest, Its time to focus on microcontrollers, Microprocessors, etc. At least to a certain extent...I have seen some of the documentation! There are limits to this and I'm an old man anyway.
