Haha I loved this reaction even more than I normally would have because when I was watching this match I was just as frustrated as I'm sure Roger was at times. Andreev, to his credit, just wouldn't go away. Stealing the first set and not folding after the third. Anyways, the reaction was special for me because as that last backhand went out I shouted "YES!" and gave a big double fist pump just before Roger did. Now I just laugh when I think about how ridiculous I probably looked to my roommate..
Federer is very fast, but the reason why some people dont think that is mainly because he "rule" the point the way he want it. And when he is on the defensive he comes up with some wonderful shots which make him the offensive player again.
When will people realize that you can't dropshot Roger Federer. In all my years of watching tennis I don't think I've ever seen him not get to a drop shot, he might barely get it and lob it straight into an overhead for someone, but he'll still get to it. People always talk about Nadal's speed and rightfully so, but Federer has great speed too and looks so elegant the way he covers ground. In case you didn't catch my point, if you ever play pro tennis, don't dropshot Roger Federer...
i have seen novak drop shot on roger, roger got to it , but returned it badly and novak just hit a cross court passing shot..if you hit it well you can set it up for bait..but i agree with you, roger is a superb athlete!
Yeah, well the difference is that Nadal goes full speed every point while Federer is more conservative about using his speed which is probably why I've never seen him lose anything physically at the end of a match. He sometimes lapses mentally, but he never loses at the end of a match because of a physical ailment (Aside from his back problems occasionally). Federer saves his sprints for when he has a chance to threaten his opponents' serve, in tiebreaks, break points, etc.
telling the crowd to shhhhh, disrespectful little bitch....thats why we love roger, not becuase hes was so dominating, its becuase hes a gentleman and a great sportsman, unlike idiots like this guy igor

do you people know tennis ??
it was a huge point... 5th set and he got the break and that is when the emotions come out. When he is winning easy there's no reason for it...

look at the federer hewitt point, that's a pretty fast federer point, as much as I like nadal, federer can be fast when he wants to.
