My child was recently diagnosed with SPD. He has difficulty in the majority of the profile areas (except taste and smell). I have been trying to find a simple way to explain this to family and friends and what it means for him and for us. This video is it! Very very well done. Yep, I sure see the true colours in my little boy who has just 6 months ago been diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder. Now I get him! I am so glad I followed my gut instinct as a parent - now I can help him become more regulated and enjoy life a little more each day. It's going to take a lot of commitment and time from everyone in his life but we can do this - tears and laughter along for sure but focusing on his true colours and strengths has been the key.
