As far as I know both stories, I'd say this movie is inspired by the Japanese original at most.

@DrsJacksonn ....I doubt this movie was inspired by the Jpn movie Yogen. Both use the paranormal as a plot device, but with this movie the main character psychically time shifts within her own timeline while in Yogen that main character not only time shifts but receives info about other events of misfortune fated to happen via the "newspaper of terror" and eventually is psychically linked to the Akashic Records, the primary plot device of Yogen.

Love this movie so much! Rented it, had to own it. Now I've seen it probably atleast 200 times (no joke) and have memorized practically every word. :) Love it! Amazing chemistry on and off screen. Fantastic cast and crew! Amazing movie!
