Adam Muto ( Storyboard Artist ) has stated on his FormSpring that Susan will return in a later episode. There is a strong possibility that she will return in season 4 or season 5 giving more hints to Susan's humanity and Susan's possible link with Finn. Don't expect her returning anytime soon.
