  • I love how Bellatrix uses a spell on Harry then just casually walks away.

  • Bellatrix is mental O.o

  • He was the bravest man I ever knew.

  • When I saw this scene! I thought that Snape is going to exile himself and never come back to Hogwarts ever again. It's does look like a sign of betrayal!

  • Wow!

  • Bellatrix got wrong person as Harrry was talking to Snape, not Bellatrix.

  • Harry is always on the floor because he's too drunk to stand.

  • Wtf Bellatrix just easily trots away...you BITCH. Also, I read the book after watching this, so I had no idea who the Half Blood Prince was, and in the theatres when Snape told Harry, I was all"NO, I thought so! Wait, NO, really? Gahhhhhh!"

  • Snape:Potter get a proper haircut you look like Justin Beiber

    Just like your dad.

    Harry : avada kedavra.

    Hagrid: everything alright Harry

    Harry : I'm fine

Hagrid turns around realises his hut Is on fire turns around.

Hagrid: which one of you small fries burnt me hut Down I'll stomp on ya.

    Death eaters Run like fuck

  • why does snape always seem so calm?

  • @windycityflyer23chi Snape has a very calm, insensible charachter: he doesn't show his emotions.

  • why is harry always on the floor?

  • *NO he belongs to the dark lord* holy S*** it makes sense now :O

  • Harry: SNAPE HE TRUSTED YOU

    Harry: AVADA KEDAVRA

    Snape dies.

  • Is it me or does Daniel do his best acting along side Alan?

  • @GrissomLovesSara Depends the film. I think his acting was ok in this one. Then in DHp1 it was kinda shitty. Then in DHp2 it was the best I'd ever seen.

  • @nunka34ify He didn't have a scene with Alan in DHp1 but in DHp2 he did which kind of goes back to my idea that when he acts beside Alan he does a better job. But he also did a good job at the end of OOTP when V was inside his body

  • why did't they grab harry and bring him back?

  • If I were Harry I would've said "WELL DONT JUST STAND THERE YOU RETARDED FUCK FIGHT BACK!"

    It would've made my day.

  • What is the music played throughout this scene?????

  • After that harry never uses sectumsempra...

    Why?

  • Awwwww Bella! Shes so childish!! Is so cute!!!!!!

  • Harry was talking to Snape, not Bellatrix as what the heck she's doing. Rubbish!

  • My God...... Snape is so beautiful. His voice is so beautiful.

  • stepahnie meyer should just suck snape's dick

  • "He belongs to the Dark Lord"i love when he talks

  • i miss the "dont call me a coward!" line. they shouldve put the whole scene here. i understand cuts, but it wouldve made snape seem even more villain like and gave this movie a fair bit of action.

  • who the fuck is this retarted chick?

  • @gogleistscheise1 that's Bellatrix

  • Is it just me or did harry have no wand when he said sectum sempra?

  • 546545646545456151231215462734712389472308957234896237816283746283712374562734627893562834756982735678234562738562937845618347189457230895723458927581640192834126702571234905782348970846237095780123457125897 POINTS FROM GRYFFINDOR!

  • @daragdan "Detention"

  • What's the matter with Bellatrix? She looks like she's constantly going to pee her pants. Seriously, wtf?

  • After Sev Admits He's The HBP I Can Totally See Gred And Forge Saying "DUUNN DUUN DUN DUUUNNNN!!!!!!!!!!"

  • @ZeynabW Yeah, I see your point. But look. Ok, it's cute and bla bla bla his intention of saving his friends. Agree. But who really saves who? That's the point. Potter beguins the saga already protected by his mom's life. Voldemort can't touch him. Potter has also Dumbledore's protection all the time, he was never alone through the entire saga. I'm sorry, but you have to agree that Potter was not that intelligent. So, he needs Hermione and the others to show the path.

  • @MrGomesAndrade Continuing. Potter does nothing when he's face to face with Voldemort. The protection around him does the work for him. He only flees. The only spell he uses is expelliarmus! Even his wand saves him, twice! Withou those behind him, Potter would not know what to do! Do you see? It is not Potter who saves his friends, but his friends who save Potter. I mean, in a whole. Once or twice he does one or two heroic scenes. But looking to the total, Potter is just a dizzy cockroach.

  • One good exemaple of bad decision? When he trusted in the dream about Sirius being tortured at Ministry of Magic. I mean, Dumbledore, Snape and Hermione had warned him not to believe in every thing he dreamed! Couse it could be a trap. But no, the proud and brave Potter decided to go there and save Sirius! The useless one, who knew just cast a patronus charm. Result? Sirius died.

  • @MrGomesAndrade i totally agree with you if he hadn't had the protection of hs friends especially snape and dumbledore he would've been dead long ago

  • @ZeynabW The fact Potter wanted to finish Voldemort alone without help doesn't change what I said. Wanting it or not, Potter was saved by those behind him.

  • @ZeynabW Thanks God they helped him, otherwise he would be dead at the first battle. He's useless, stupid and choose always the wrong decisions. I think YOU should read the books more closely, my dear. You will notice that Dumbledore's plans are all the time leading him. Even when he's not aware about it. Even before he goes to school, during the school season and after it. The agent of these books is Dumbledore, not Potter. Potter is only an instrument. Both Dumbledore and Voldemort knew it.

  • I love the music during this scene. Shame they omitted it on the soundtrack.

  • 0:02 SNAPE HE TRUSTED YOU

  • Comment removed

  • snape don't attact harry because he is on the side from the good

  • Aaaaaaaargh! Hate this Potter, foolish one! How can a stupid little girl like him defeat the worst wizard ever? Ok, ok... his mother's protection and Dumbledore's plans... his friends' aid... but nothing by himself!!! Voldemort was right. He only survived because of those behind him.

And people call this one a hero, my hat!

  • 0:15

  • 0:02

  • @JoeBro715 He didn't want to frighten Harry. He knew Harry would find out the truth sooner or later.

  • Can't believe there was never a fight scene between Snape and Riddle. That would have been badass!

  • Snape covers Harry's arse every movie and HP doesn't even know it.

  • @ctriamimgons Yer but he's still a total dick to harry for no reason, just because he hated Harrys dad doesn't mean he can take it out on Harry!

  • @LUKE0ST3L0S99 Let me first say that the reason Snape was a dick to Harry was because of everything James did to him.

    1) Took the love of his life

    2) Teased him

    3) Jinxed him (even in front of others)

    4) Never made life easy

And Harry seems to resemble so much of James and serves a constant reminder to what James did.

  • @HarryPotterOnly it's more than that though. snape seems to have a vested interest in harry's character. he WANTS harry to be unlike his father, but many times harry is hell bent on disappointing snape. as harry grows older however, he does improve, and a lot of this has to do with snape. whether it be because snape pushed harry hard enough to make him grow, or harry learned from snape's memories that his father was not someone he should emulate, snape helped harry grow.

  • Snape! HE TRUSTED YOU!

  • i still dont understand why after Snape declares that he is the Half-Blood Prince that it has a significant part of the story. is it just because of the book that Harry discovers with Snapes nickname in it? I dont get it. Dont get me wrong here guys. I have only seen Half Blood Prince a couple of times and still dont fully understand it. ive only read the first two books too so i could use a bit of help here...

  • @iamSnip3rOne

You should definitely read all the books, its worth the while. Snape declares he is the Half Blood Prince for a lot of reasons.

    1. It is one of the main plots throughout the movie, who was the HBP and if it wasn't answered, people would be confused.

    2. He wants to show Harry that he was the cause of his success.

    3. He wants to show Harry that he knew what he was up to all along.

    4. He wanted to brag.

Only the first reason is absolutely correct, the last 3 are just my ideas =)

  • @severusscabbers Wow! Thanks a lot! that clears up a few questions that i wondered over seeing the movie the first few times. Ive read the first two books and i was quite impressed with Philosopher's Stone. So why would Snape know all along what he was trying 2 do and why he was the cause of all his success? is that just part of the story? sorry sometimes i just need a reason to get rid of all the bigger questions i have. Id agree with 3 of the 4 points you shared with me. :)

  • @iamSnip3rOne

Because the only way Harry managed in Potions was because of that book. When Harry and Draco fought in the bathroom at that one point, Harry used "Sectrumsempra", a spell labeled "For Enemies" in the potions book. Snape saw Dracos wounds, and knew that Harry must have that book, even though Harry tried to fool him with Ron's book.

Sorry, hope that made sense, the movies are not very detailed...

  • @severusscabbers that made lots of sense. thanks again. the movies have good detail, but i think unlike most movies the directors kinda knew that most people have read the book so they let the audience think about the circumstances in the movie and figure out the details for themselves. thats just me tho

  • @iamSnip3rOne

Yeah, most people have read the books. I saw the first 6 movies before I read the books, but I was so happy I did. HBP is 652 pages long, though, so the director couldn't manage to fit that in.

  • @severusscabbers LOL. i was wanting to watch the movies before i read anything to get the details that i wouldnt get in the movie. In reality, books can never be interpreted correctly into a movie. they are made to make your imagination run better than seeing a movie. that s the best part of reading a good book. Although the directors for HP didnt add few things that they might have added for more info and detail. they did a really good job with the movies.

  • @iamSnip3rOne

Definitely. I'm a huge fan of the movies. I'm actually glad I watched the first six before I read the books, so that I had the image of the actors in my mind, instead of just my imagination. And the directors, I think, did the best possible job that could be done, without making the movies 5 hours apiece. But the books are the original Harry Potter, and one can never truly know Harry Potter without reading them.

  • @severusscabbers Couldn't of said it better myself. When my sister is done with Prisoner of Azkaban then il read that one. eventhough she is in school she is taking longer than i want to finish it.grrrr. :P I think i might have watched through the entire series then read the first two books. lol i saw the Deathly Hallows Part 2 around a month ago and then i read Philosopher's( Sorcerer's) Stone. I am sad that i didnt really grow up with the series during the last ten years tho...ehh.

  • Harry is cowerd u know that

  • I got the chills when Harry screamed

    "SNAPE! HE TRUSTED YOU!"

  • Snape is not a coward. Dumbledore want that snape killed him

  • I wouldn't dare challenge Snape in a wand duel! Never in a million years! Though Harry is a powerful wizard in his own right, if I was to bet between Harry and Severus to win in a duel, my bet would be on Snape and not because I like him, but because of his experience. This scene is a good example of how not to mess with Snape! Snape was a seriously powerful wizard and he seriously owned Harry in this scene!

  • Love Snape!! What a brave man!!! I think he deserve the love of Lily than the James Potter!!! How disappointing!!! :(

  • i really hated Harry when he called Snape a coward.

  • Snape is my favorite character. He deserve much more. And to me he wasn't a coward, I don't know how to describe him but he wasn't a coward.

  • JK Rowling wrote a better love story in one chapter than Stephanie Meyer did in four books

  • @CurvesRsexy08 whos stephanie mayer? im guessing its a dig at twilight? if it is.. then yeah thumbs up

  • @CurvesRsexy08 TRUE THAT!

  • DON'T call Severus Snape a coward. He is everything that a coward is not. He is .... the bravest man I ever knew.....

  • Snape deserved so much more then what he had in life, everytime i think about his life it breaks my heart. I don't think ive ever been this depressed for a fictional character if ever. He'll always be a hero to me <3

  • @ilovebutch19 Wasn't his Mother called Eileen Prince? His father's surname was Snape but he hated his father and so used his mother's maiden name instead? Just wondering :)

  • If you read the book the title "Half Blood Prince makes sense" In the book, you find out that the reason Snape was called that was because he was half Muggle and half Wizard and his father's last name was Prince and so that is where it comes from :D

  • what did snape do when harry tried 2 use his spell against him

  • @PeanutPanhead used stupefy before harry could finish the encantation

  • @wizard101personguy99 o ok gotcha thx :)

  • Snape is the best Harry Potter- character. I loved the part in the book where I learnt that Snape was actually a good guy.

  • Comment removed

  • "There's no need to call me sir" haha does anyone remember that quote from harry? One of his wittiest lines ever!

  • @babiesrevil i loved harry being a smartass in the books

  • Go severus!

But he didnt want to hurt harry.

He never wanted,I cried so much at the last film.

  • mcgonagal*

  • harry*

  • snape*

  • snap get called a coward a lot.... by hyarry here and mcgonaga in hp7 p2

  • Bellatrix is a crazy mofo!

  • He knocked him out good in the prisoner of azkaban.

  • Deaths of Severus and Dumbledore were the most saddest parts in the whole death series.

  • " Yes I am the Half Blood Prince"

When I heard this I say:

    -What!?

  • 240p we meet again........

  • Snape was a bully. He was mean and spiteful. He judged Harry just because his dad bullied him. BUT he loved. He was extremely brave, putting his life on the line to protect Harry. Snape is a very complex character, but i guess that's why i love him so much.

  • even though it's 240p, this is still good quality somehow..

  • I remember after the movie (deathly hallows part 2) cause of snape's death I went into a stage of depression and wouldn't talk to anyone for like 2 days killing snape was one of JK rowlings biggest mistakes

  • Harry: SNAPE HE TRUSTED YOU! Snape: Go on (To Draco) Harry: (Does spell I don't know which one Lol) Me: YOU GO TELL HIM HARRY! Snape: (Blocks spell) Harry: FIGHT BACK YOU COWARD FIGHT BACK! Bellatrix: (Knocks down harry with spell) Snape: NO! He belongs to the dark lord! Harry: (Does one of snapes spells) Me: GO HARRY!!! Snape: (Knocks down harry with spell) How dare you use my spells against me. Yes, I'm the half blood prince! Me watching harry potter part 2: WHAT? Snape!! awww!
  • i hate it now that people know snape was good, that they're saying they loved him the whole time. No you didn't. The directors weren't to know that snape turns out to be good, so they would have portrayed him to be horrible throughout, therefore there was no element to like about him. Sure it was sad he died, and that was the whole point, to feel sorry for hating him, but everyone was naive to the fact that he was good all along. Another flash of genius by JK Rowling.

  • @fazer990 Actually I never thought he was evil......sorry.

  • @rocklee1397 yeah lol, of course you didn't.

  • @fazer990 So you think so much of yourself, that you're mind can't even comprehend the fact that someone might have had a different opinion about a character in a book than you? Pity.

  • @rocklee1397 I just don't believe people when they say that they loved snape all along. there was nothing to love about him. sure, everyone loved him in the end, but not all the way through, it's bullshit. And i don't see how that's me thinking so much of myself. It's an opinion isn't it? Stop trying to be clever, and trying to belittle my intelligence.

  • @fazer990 I always liked Snape because of the qualities he had on screen, which largely was down to the fantastic performance of Alan Rickman. Always my favourite. Mysterious, dark, rich in presence. Stunning character. You say you have an opinion, of course you do, everyone else does and clearly I have mine also. I liked Snape all along. *Cough*, Loved.

  • @fazer990 Actually, there was quite a lot to love about Snape before everyone found out the secret. I've loved his character since book four precisely when I found out her used to be a Death Eater, but for some reason wasn't anymore. It was at that moment he became infinitely more complex in my eyes and more hard to figure out, and I love characters like that. I didn't even doubt there was something more going on after he killed Dumbledore, and so never hated him for killing him.

  • @fazer990 Yes but your deigning me my mine but telling me what I did or didn't think. As for belittling your intelligence, your doing a fine job of that yourself without my help. But I have a solution, lets agree to disagree about how one did or did not feel in terms of a story book character.

  • @fazer990 So yes, it IS possible for people to have loved the character of Snape before finding out everything in DH. I loved him for his mystery and complexity and the inability to ever really figure him out, (which is found even moreso in the books than in the movies IMO) and it's a huge credit to JKRs writing that she was able to get those layers across without fully revealing everything about him until the end.

  • @cbrownjc I'm not saying it isn't possible. I just don't believe people who say they 'LOVED' him the whole time. Of course people can love characters and the role they play, but to say they loved snape as a man/ wizard, i don't believe. It's a similar thing to Heath Ledger's joker. Everyone loved the character, but not the joker himself, he was an evil fucker.

  • @Zevu1997 :D

  • watching the films back after u kno snape is good, the looks u thought were evil frm snape seem mor concerning then anything especially in the goblet of fire when harrys name gets picked, nd he walks past snape nd snape looks before u kno he is a good guy u think its an evil look as if to say "i done it" but u realise later on once u kno the plot he is really thinking, dnt worry we will get to bottom of this harry. amazing acting and superbly wrote

  • In Noctem music in the back.... :'D

  • humm reality check its only a fuckin movie nerds

  • @SuperJmojica it means a lot to a lot of people dont go makin fun of that now fuck off if u dont wanna be with harry potter nerds. id rather be a nerd than a dick that makes fun of how much something means to someone. if u wanna make fun of how much justin bieber is worth to a fan girl though, thats out of my power.

  • i love bellatirx in this one but i hate her in dh part 2 because she kills tonks

  • Harry needs to learn how to deflect spells like for reals!

  • bellatrix is so... KRAYZAYY!!! xD

  • HOW CAME SNAPE IS THE HALF BLOOD PRICE

  • @wilzusuki His mom was a witch and his Dad was a muggle witch makes him a Half Blood his moms maiden name was Prince so he made the name Half Blood Prince

  • I remember when I read the book. I was so frustrated that Harry was just knocked over again and again. I wanted him to unleash all his rage on Snape.. but after the 7th book I was like "Ok, I see now"

  • Thums up if anyone else noticed that when Harry uses Sectumsempra against Snape, he doesn't have a wand in his hand. He just points his finger - now thats just lazy!!

  • Snape's memory in HP 7.5 was incredible but yet very emotional. When Snape tells Dubledore "You've been raising him like a pig being led to slaughter" sent chills down my back

  • "SNAPE!!!! HE TRUSTED YOU!!!!!"

    Gives me chills every time!

  • After seeing Snape's memory in DH Part 2, this part breaks my heart because Harry didn't know why Snape killed Dumbledore or that he was trying to protect Harry against Voldemort. He loved Lily and every time he looked into Harry's eyes, they reminded him of her! I always knew he was a good guy.

  • weeeeeeeeee....

LOL xD She evil but her laugh is so cool:')!

Ahh:'/ This scene made me cry:'(!

    He trusted you!

Harry stop having a go at him he was trying to protect you-.-!

  • Snape=pwnage

"You dare use my own spells against me potter? Yes I'm HalfBlood Prince"

  • "SNAPE! HE TRUSTED YOU" this really brings tears to my eyes now after seeing 'Deathly Hallows Part 2 - Prince's Tale'

  • Look at Bellatrix just having the time of her life, like a kid in a candy store.

  • Severus Snape lives in Bikini Bottom with Spongebob.

  • Don't call Severus Snape a coward...

  • @TheGameChannel321 However at the time, we all agreed with Harry... we didn't know Snape was a good man :(

  • Did anyone notice the tone of Snape, when he said no to Bellatrix? maybe it's just me xD... but sounded protective... and then Harry attempts to kill him -_-;

  • i love how the adults are like 100 times faster than the students at duelling

  • At 0:10 I love that part.

  • That voice <3

  • Yoooo whooooo. *sets hagrids hut on fire* WHEEEEEEEEEEE!..

    Bellatrix...is...awesome.

  • HE DOESN'T WANT TO FIGHT BACK HARRY HE WANTS TO PROTECT U HE CARES FOR YOU HARRY! he helped you find the sword of griifindor HE ARRANGED DUMBLEDORES DEATH WITH HIM! SNAPE LOVED YOUR MOTHER HE IS A GOOD MAN! can't believe harry had to understand this after severus died :( i cried when he died ... severus snape will always be my favorite harry potter character!

  • @TheGameChannel321 Severus Snapes death broke my heart...it was so brutal...and his memories shattered my heart to pieces.......I know he was only a character in a book, but for some reason it has really hurt me...I feel like i've lost the love of my life, i feel like a widow.............that must sound so silly.. <3

  • @TemptationTakesMe omg i was crying that whole way through for 20 min :'(
