very interesting sound.....for the most part the strings captured it well, i did think the beginning needed improvement, but reading the comments makes me think that maybe it was supposed to be that way....in any case, I really enjoyed it.

And no, just because you are using violins, cellos, violas, and other strings to play the music does not make it automatically "classical" music. Classical music is a style, not necessarily the instruments played.
