  • This is great ! Love the voice

  • This is amazing, I can't stop watching this videos. <3

  • I loved that. I wish I could afford to go to VFS. I heard it is very expensive. :[

  • @AcoustikWonderz21 Thank you! Well, animation is about practice, VFS gives you the opportunity to work-live-draw-flip in one place, getting to know some amazing people along the way.

  • i like the trace and haow it looks so dynamic.. easy shapes and movements show an easy story .. like it a lot

  • i love it sooo good.kinda creepy.i would love to go to vfs

  • Thanks for a great video.

    Forgiveness for a short answer

  • Great

  • Great vid.

one of my favorites on the VFS web site for the CA program

  • @TheAirMan Oh thank you so very much, that really means A LOT. Thanks )

  • That was totally WTF, but I liked it, especially the way stuff moved.

    Good touch!

  • Dude! This guy would be incredible as a villain!!

  • @ZillieZephyr Indeed! I got inspired A LOT by Dr Facilier from The Pincess and the Frog (yeah, I know, damn Disney, but they are wicked animators). Check how he moves while enchanting the prince, with the cards. The perspective is AMAZING.

  • yaaaay!

  • Simply fantastic. I have made great note of the style and it shall be absorbed into my Great Collective of Knowledge! Hazaar!

  • really great..

  • how many hours total did it take you to do this video...very well done!

  • @robertwmoore Thank you very much for the kind words! Well, this was done in about 5 months, from script writing up to the last frame of the last scene. It was a painful, painful but fun ride!

  • Very intriguing and offers food for a thought. Abstract yet not up to a point that it's unrelatable and confusing. Great job :)

  • I like this one, it's like HH Geiger and Salvador Dali were wrapped in a blanket and smoked by aeon flux

  • @notNEWW Hahaha, you forgot the "special brownies" that were served by DeChirico for breakfast, haha!

  • this is fantastic

  • It weirdly reminds me of the scene in the Adventures of Tom Sawyer (or Huckleberry fin) claymation film where the being with the mask created the clay city with the help of the kids and then destroyed it with earthquakes and death.

  • @itsyourmomOMFG The Adventures Of Mark Twain, and excellent film.

  • This is great!

  • this is a relly great thing im hoping to go to vfs

  • @A2dashawn That's great. Please let us know if there is any information that we can help you with.

  • Very odd, but also very original animation techniques and ideas.

  • coooool....

  • @theMOSLOWshow Haha, thank you! Hmmm, should I send it to Aniboom? I declare myself a bit shy in the PR busyness.

  • Original idea, and original animation style

  • The animation was a little more "artistic" than I typically like, but it was really well done. The voice work was extremely well done.

  • WTF???

  • i love this one

  • beautiful animation VERA VARLAMOVA

  • "the animator"...very nice

  • ummm yes....

  • simply poetic. love it

  • This was GREAT.

  • VFS's best animator!

  • Nice animation

  • Fascinating animation style... I dig it!

  • WOW

  • i don;t understand.. can explain?

  • @ODAC25thKA If it helps, well, imagine it is a street performance and you are watching a Creator play a game of cups with physical metaphors that combined turn into this ultimate creation. In this case we are playing with the basis of animation, and it only can exist thanks to the persistence of vision (inevitable physical aspect of vision, hence "succumb to the persistence of vision"), the eye, the storytelling, the tongue, and collective conscience or memory, the brain.

  • @vivrus Thanks so much for your effort to explain!

  • wut?

  • great animation , very good ideea for this short video ...

  • this was so inspiring! i really love it :| i do

  • @ioanacristyna93 Thank you very much. I guess that is the most rewarding thing, you know, inspiring others! I am so happy U_U And thanks again for the beautiful words!

  • 8 ppl missed the like button...

  • wow! that was like a poem

  • that was weird.

  • Creativity is the main requirement for all past, present and future individuals that made or will make a real difference...

  • This is mind blowing O_o.

  • This is phenomenal. I agree with those that said this is a favorite VFS post to date. Well done. Also, excellent job for the voiceover, eerie but intriguing. :)

  • @justducky834 WoW! That means SO MUCH! Haha, that is so awesome that you think that, thank youuuu!!!!!!!!!! All the work that comes from VFS is made out of blood and sweat and loads of tears and mmmm... peanut butter! That one saves your life when you are on a crazy all-nighter... second in a row... DX

  • @vivrus i thought coffee and energy drinks saved lives.. at least in my class.. (ca62)... great work!

  • oh shi* amazing!

  • *.*

I love the animations that VFS posts! I'm not so bothered with the films usually, but the animations always seem to be so inventive and always have a different style

  • D:

That was mind blowing, I loved it! Very few times have I seen something so creative and smooth in a technical basis yet also scientifically accurate and philosophical. I loved it.

  • Wow

  • @rewii93 that was my reaction to this video too. lol

  • what a beautiful voice

  • Simply amazing!

  • Brilliant work, what else could we expect from Vancouver Film School ;D

  • She understands! The universe has no time; our time being merely human constructs. Hope you buy my novel In Time, Vera.

  • @nevilleanimusic Thank you very much and yes, isn't that just brilliant? You know, Pirsing mentions the same thing: science is the ghost of humanity, since the laws of nature, like ghosts, only exist in our imagination. Therefore, the question is, does gravity actually exist? I wonder how I could put my paws on your book! XD

  • WOW... amazingly good !

  • that was incredible...

  • I think VFS should at least link to the creators youtube for recognition and stuff.... this is awesome!

    watch?v=SOtYFseS-fI

  • I like this kind of animation.

  • that was grate :)

  • @vivrus

I thought you must be the writer. I hope you give yourself credit in the next one. It's a great film made all the better by your words. It takes the animation to another level.

  • Liked and saved!!

  • WOW :D that was a mindfulllllll!!!

  • Great work! Who was the writer?

  • @SanDiegoArtNut Thank you very much! Yeah, I wrote it too. It was a sort of intro to a more complex theoretical work I would like to do in the future on animation and timing! But it took a bit of time and cookies to finish the script XD.

  • wow. .. SO IMPRESSIVE

  • damn that was amazing!

  • Thumbs up if you're saving to favorites

  • it's so beautifull

  • wonderfull :)

  • that

    was

    awesome.

  • Perfect

  • creepy

  • this was amazing, it had me in a trance!

  • This is incredible.

  • how do we create thought?

  • Definitely one of the most impressive vfs shorts to date. The animation style is timeless and tasteful. The script is captivatingly abstract. These two blend beautifully. This is art.

  • The Perfect Abstract!

  • nice
