Having u.s. government plates may be a problem. But civilians can own level IV plates which is as high as it goes. As long as your state or city does not have laws against it.

People trash airsoft it's annoying. I have fired multiple real guns of high caliber in my life, but guess what? Aw man.....I wished I had that......it's illegal to have body armor/plate carriers unless you are military, ex-military or federal officer/agent. Are you one? Because I was wondering after watching many vids on these armor vests.

It depends on the plate size you will be using.

The size of the plates directly relates to the carrier.

Look at the SKD PIG Plate carrier. Its made by eagle but has some pretty sweet improvements..
