Just a little thing on the side in terms of health, but younger kids have better "tolerance in fatness" (for lack of a better term). What I mean is that let's take an older person and a younger kid, and they eat the same unhealthy thing (like a hot dog). That hot dog is going to have a bigger toll on the older person than on the younger person.

i have one point against your idea of athletic peaks. as you get older, you don't necessarily become more athletic, but you become a smarter player. NFL players are in great shape, but I'd rather have a smart QB who makes good decisions than a super athlete who doesn't understand the game as well.

the difference between young and old is simple, its all physical growth. i am only 22 but i act so mature, i have never known what it means to be young, like the stereotypical young. crazy and careless. i have always been very cautious and responsible, even when i was even younger. the only times in my life i was crazy was when i was between 5 and 12. thats when i used to drive my granddads tractor, tie strings to fireworks and put my dads car on neutral when he parked outside.
