I think Mario Kart 7 3DS use's the better sounding Wii version of GBA castle music for it's GBA castle course.

@SPS148669 theyre both the same because the 3DS has nearly the same sound chip as the wii.

@TheColorPaul They're not the same. The 3DS version uses instruments that sound better more like the original without the 16-bit sounds.
