What I think is interesting is that the bottom two espada hadn't really extended their abilities to their maximum potential.
Aaroniero and Szayel.
It would be great if they were still around. Firstly, Kubo should have made Aaroniero have no true form, this would make him more mysterious and give him a better form than those two floating heads in a jar. So when he gets hit by the light he doesn't revert to that stupid form, but instead disappears.
When Rukia shoots that wall to reveal some light onto Aaroniero, Aaroniero simply disappears, giving him some sort of ability like Mayuri would make him reappear and allow us to really see the full extension of his abilities later in the series.
When Yammy is finally killed by Byakuya and Kenpachi, Aaroniero who in his vaporous form has been hiding out in the shadows, devouring fallen hollows like Nnoitra, Zommari, Szayel, and Ulquiorra. Numerous fraccions and ex-espada. And then finally Yammy
When he re-emerges, he takes control over each of there powers so now Mayuri, Byakuya, and Kenpachi have a real threat to deal with as they must now fight a shapeshifter who possesses the combined powers of Ulquiorra, Yammy, Nnoitra, Zommari, Szayel, along with numerous fraccion and ex-espada, this would include the healing abilities of Szayel's Fraccion.
However, sometime during the fight he become taken over by Szayel who then proceeds with his masterful intellect to make the fight harder.

shinigami do age, in bleach they have shown younger shinigamis, for example they have shown a younger hitsugaya and rukia and renji and a child byakuya. they just age over hundreds of years in contrast with humans who age in decades
NO buddy Shinigamis do not age. There bodies get bigger over hundreds of years but they stay the same age they were when they died. That is why all captains ussually look bigger than other shinigamis because they died a long time ago. Just look at Yamamoto. Very old guy but with huge muscles and he has been there since more that 400 years ago....and only his body gets bigger. Not his age!
Pardon my unclear earlier statement. When I'd said only their bodies get bigger,,,,I meant it the size actually depends on the size they were on when alive. Zaraki was probably bigger than Yamamoto in his human days.
But then how do you explain that scene in the Anime in that episode where it showed how Shinji and the others were experiments of Aizen's Hollowification research. There was a scene in that episode where it showed Byakuya as a little boy. If their size depends on where they were alive, then why didn't Byakuya's body stay little instead of turning into a full grown adult? first off, Yachiru never died. i dont know who told you that but they apparently dont read the manga either or watch the show. Yachiru is in Hueco Mundo, and she's trapped there. Barragan is the Segunda Espada, #2 in Aizen's army.

I thought Barragan was a stupidly designed character at first but his release is much more intimidating than any other Espada. Plus he's done more damage than any other Espada. Stark has done nothing of note, Halibel did nothing

Well even if he is healed up from the fight with Ulquiorra there is a BIG problem down below back in Las Noches waiting for him... And I do mean BIG, also he can't open Garganta gates like Arrancar and thus has to find another way out of Hueco Mundo, the same can be said of the other captains in Hueco Mundo.

Oh my...The fight between Haribel and Hitsugaya is A-W-E-S-O-M-E and cant stop watching it.
But Barragan...Gosh...he is sooo strong , i almost think he is invencible...dont know if Soi Fong will beat him , way complicated to defeat Barragan.Lol.
I think that Barragan maybe is inmortal or something very near , and there is no scape.He said that he was ''Old Age'' that means , everyone , in some moment , dies , theres no way to escape it so.Maybe that means that there is no way to beat him.

Not into hallibel-hitsugaya that much,everyweek is the same thing,and we haven't seen nothing from hallibell,she needs to show a lot more if she's the 3rd espada,even nnoitra showed more than her,she can't die with this stupid attack...the nº3 espada should beat one of the weakest captains in no time...barragans realease is badass can't also see how soi fon will win,maybe her bankai has something to it...and i can't wait to watch the stark-shunsui showdown

so far in this anime all the good guys win eventually like ichigo beat ulquiorra when he was getting owned at first and also the other captains defeated the espadas although i want halibel to do more than this but i do think she will be defeated by hitsugaya which is kinna lame for alot ppl yet good for some

I dont think Halibel is going to die like that...she is the tercera espada , she cant be beaten like that.
However , I dont consider that Toshiro Hitsugaya is weak or one of the most weak captains , thats why I think that the fight between them is very interesting.
But , opinions are opinions , so xD.
And I am in the same position with the Stark- Shunsui fight...Cant wait to see it full.
