  • Awesome voice!

  • This is the best cover of "Oh what a savior" that I have ever heard.

  • For the highest tenor go to Johnny Cook fan page on Facebook.

  • Actually, your voice in general reminds me of Jay. I love that you sing the songs he did! It sounds like you watched some Jay Parrack! You certainly picked a good tenor to learn from! You have your own unique sound as well. Very good!

  • Awesome -- Your "Get Up, Get Ready" actually reminds me of Jay Parrack (my favorite tenor).

  • It is AMAZINGLY naive to think that this singer has THAT much range and sheer power without years of training. He trains, don't you worry about that, and he didn't start out with that voice, either.

  • The tenor sounds like the singer for the 70's band "Yes". He didn't sing falsetto either. It was his natural voice. I'd like to see these guys perform. Going to their website now.

  • Paul, you are a pretty amazing singer. The group sounds pretty great. I wish I could make music like that come out of my mouth....only God can appreciate what comes out of my mouth! As for the ridiculous comments...if your voice was PERFECT we would be bowing down to YOU when we get to heaven!! But we know you aint Jesus!

  • By the way, my favorite was Oh what a savior!!

  • Livin' Forgiven!!! I love that song!! I actually like all the songs in the video!! Great choices!! And I've never heard of this group but Im glad I found them, they have a kinda different or unique sound, and I like them. I wish everyone else would just calm down about comparing Southern gospel groups on youtube, the best southern gospel singer is the one that means what they say and live the way they teach others to, not the one that can sing the highest or lowest notes. Can I get an Amen?

  • Man, I can't stand it when people get snippy and so techie on technique. Can't some of you just enjoy the talent and the Spirit inspired words? This group is very good. I also sing tenor and I appreciate any tenor who sings well. Noone is perfect, including Brian Free. I'll bet if you asked him he would also admit it. Just chill and enjoy the God-given talent here.

  • @kmwoods0731

"Just chill"......you took the words right out of my mouth! Thank you!!

  • This is the never ending issue in SG , who sings higher who sings lower. prccw37 when you post a video with the caption highlighting your amazing range you open yourself for comments. You have a very nice voice and you have a great top end. I am sure someday that you will be on the "National" scene. godgaveasong is correct though. When you drop to your lower register you can here the transition fom your chest voice to your head voice. Don't be so defensive. Maybe highlight the group

  • @DKrauter

godgaveasong was not talking to me. He was talking to MrTravis02. He was talking about different falsetto definitions. Never mentioned my voice.

  • Brian Free is better, not to mention his group as well. Brian is the most awarded Tenor of all time in any genre, look it up.

  • @justinlee827

Why the hostility? What did I do to get that kind of negative feed back?

  • @justinlee827 why do you comment that on every video? brian free has a rather weak voice, it doesnt stay stable unless he is singing extremely high. and his group is no better than this one.

  • @justinlee827

Sooo...just because that is your opinion doesn't make it so. Others may just have another opinion. That being said, most will enjoy the spiritual gifts no matter whom. Not the self appointed experts however. That is so sad to have such a narrow minded opinion of who is or isn't better. They are all good at bringing Christ into our lives.

  • @justinlee827 this is brian free singing

  • You guys are just AWESOME!!

  • Are you Paul? If you are, you re an amzing tenor! If not, are you one of the singers who sing with the group? And how high can you go in your natural full voice?

  • Glory to God, that was awesome!

  • i am a tenor singer myself and i garuntee you that is not falsetto. anybody that knows music can tell that.

  • @MrTravis02 You are so full of it....

You probably don`t know the difference between a Tenor and a counter tenor......

Also you probably have no clue how many different definitions of the word -- Falsetto there is.....

Even amongs people with there Phd in music there is quite a lot of varied opinions.

I prefer the definition that once your voice starts sounding different then you are singing in a false voice.....

    God Bless

  • paul..i just think you have a great voice. not fake at all. you make Oh what a savior sound better than Ernie does, and he seems to be a show off in his rendition.

  • You have an amazing God given range. Work on pitch and quality. Don't be overly concerned with how high you can sing. Do solid notes with good tone instead. Steve Hurst could work wonders with you, if you have the determination and discipline.

  • Sorry but it is all natural tenor. The only FALSETTO you hear is only when needed strategically. Thanks for the comment though.

  • @Isk84l4fe "Falsetta" as you call it is called such because it is a false voice with only partial closure of the vocal ligaments or cords.

  • OH and by the way, you need to change this title becuase you hit an E. And that is amazing.

  • from romania superr

  • What an awesome voice!! Very powerful, to God be the Glory!!

  • Paul, I love your voice!!! =)

  • Great tenor!!!

  • smooth! Fantastic job!

  • Wow! Very impressive tenor voice ... awesome group as well. 5*****

  • nice high tenor voice!
