Grave (Brandon Heat) Vs. Bunji Kugashira

Anyone know the clip size on Grave's guns? or what it suppose to be :P My guess a 50 or 30 rounds box clip. The FN P90 has 50 28's in it and has the same shape as his clips :3

I admit this isn't the best anime out there. It doesn't compare to Death Note or Gantz.

But I still like this anime for the more "realistic" feel it has and the drama between the characters that builds throughout the show.

i noticed in animes with guns, that a lot of the times when someone fires and misses, the bullet lands near someone's feet. i can understand shooting at the legs to immobilize, but could you shoot that far off...

i really liked the characters in gungrave....bunji,bear,brandon were the best characters..the way the series ended was depressing and good at the same time....wish there was more anime like this....only thing that i can compare is...the get backers ..( it has its similarities) and grave of the fireflies in terms of depressing endings!!!

Harry MacDowell is one of THEE MOST evilest, understated villain in the whole of anime. A LOT of ppl hate on him, but underestimate how fuckin intelligent he was. Damn. He was my most favorite character in the anime.

Oh & uh. Yeah. Grave's cool too. So was uh, the dude that likes to wear his sunglasses at night.

I first saw Gungrave at a random TV channel, EXACTLY at this fight, and I liked it so much. Now I accidently stumbled upon this vid, and man... surely, this is one of the best anime fights ever. I also like the music a lot.

best fight in the whole anime the 2 most bad ass guys. anyone else notice how much of a true badass Bunji Kugashira is i mean grave was super strong. and he beat Bunji's face in hitting him like 20 times and the guy was still alive like nothing. i thought he was dead i mean any normal guy would of had his skull crushed in like 1 hit but he took them like nothing before he got his super soilder thing.

I thought he was dead as well! I felt sad because Id played the game first and thought it was a shitty way for Kugashira Bunji to go out. But then he came back (drunk!) and I cheered.

Definitely the best gunfight in the whole animé, with the Blood War shootouts being the 2nd best for me :)

i like how they used bunjis overdrive in the anime, the games version is better but this is the best fight in the series

I loved the anime the ending was pretty depressing though they went in a completely different direction then the game. lol but none the less the final moments between grave and the big boss is truly sad. but its a fitting ending really.

@thefatman69dude Yes they definitely went in a totally different direction from the game. I was kind of disappointed in the ending as well because it was so sad. But like you said, it was a fitting ending. However, i felt the japanese dub had more emotion in bunji's death. Do you agree?

@CrimsonXK they may have become bitter enemies but ultimately friendship is deeper then a grudge. When it came down to it they were both already dead, they both died the day boss betrayed grave. After all the hell they put eachother through they were happy to go together. Even grave and bunji, in the end nothing matters but the people u cared about. to me the last 5 minutes of the series are the most emotional 5 minutes i have ever seen in a animated series period.
