esche sucked, they havent had a good goalie since ron hextall,thats why they dont win the stanley cup. they got jvr, giroux, richards, and carter now so they have great youth. just need a good goalie

I liked Esche. He wasn't consistent, but when he was on, he was great. I don't like Emery, but Leighton has been pretty impressive lately. I think this is the best group of guys they've had in a while. Although, I'd like to see Pronger get a little more involved. He kinda looks like he's really not into playing there.

You're right about Leighton, he could quite possibly be the best goalie the Flyers have had in awhile. Too bad he's injured and now the fate of the Flyers rests in bums like Boucher and Emery. Also I too would like to see an amazing player like Chris Pronger give a little more than 65% of effort in a game. I think his Cup might possibly be whats keeping him from giving a fuck.

God i miss Keith Primeau so much. He really played his heart out in the ECF against Tampa in 2004 and carried the Flyers on his back. He really deserved the Cup that year, cause he's a class act! As for Flyguy1239's comment about Richards being a better captain than Primeau, im not ready to jump on that band wagon yet, cause Richards hasn't been appointed captain yet, although I know he's a world class leader. Primeau really captured my heart, when he was with Philadelphia! Hail Suprimeau!

Keith Primeau played out of his mind in the 03-04 playoffs. He was so dominating. It was one of the best individual playoff performances by a Flyer I have ever witnessed ( I was 2 when Hextall won the Conn Smythe). When he scored that short handed goal in game 4 and raised his stick.......that just says it all.

Keith Primeau was a heart-and-soul center, with alot of talent and strength. He really captured the flyers fans hearts in the 2004 playoffs...Fuck Tampa, they didnt deserve that cup, the flyers should have won that year. We outplayed them in every part of the game...if it wasnt for special teams, we definitely would've won that series.
