the fisheye that costs 3500 is called an xtreme fisheye. it catches more horizontal view than a mk1. it is designed for 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.

I just got this lens yesterday for 599 used from B and H. The DVX has a 72mm filter ring, so the lens is pretty wide already. Therefore mad vig. But yeah, Century should have made one with less vig. Actually...there is one that goes for 3500 for the cam. I guess it doesn't vig. But, shit, that is as much as the camera.
