  • Nice paddle which is on my to do list ..Great stuff..

  • Hope not Frank, don,t think so here in Scotland with the current legislation.Anyway happy free launching for now

  • Classic trip, absolutely no doubt, pity about the weather near the end - I believe it's been rather wet up in Fife of late? is that an understatement? When I was last at S.t Abbs they wanted £5 to park and £3 to launch. At Burnmouth some guy appeared, declaring himself as the Harbour Master, and demanded £10 to launch a Kayak - taking the piss.Launch at Coldingham,or Eyemouth - no bother there. How did you go on @ Pease Bay,I couldn't find anywhere,I assume it's through the caravan park?

  • @GBPaddling Hi Frank It was a nice day for sea state,as you know it is a tricky place for swell.Pease Bay has a large car park at the ford and a short trolley down to the beach,no fees.St Abbs can be quite congested so maybe the £5 is to deter folk.It has been quite wet but that has its advantages as all the rivers are in good condition.

  • @stevenatleven Nice one, though I doubt the £5 at S.t. Abbs is to deter folk, the bloke came over to me with his receipt book ready, and was fully expecting Me to cross his palm with silver, and was rather dissapointed when I didn't.They'll be charging people to walk along the Pier next.....I'm serious,You see. - I'll bet it has already been proposed......
