Thanks for posting this song. They played it at many of the conerts I have been to in the last 10 years of Barrys. He I think remixed and did this record in the late 90s and they played it at the concerts during intermission and before the concerts. Love the record and know it would of been a #1 smash if it were released just like the regular record was. Love Barry and have since 1973 at the beginning and am 48 now. Thanks for this post.
I have no idea why you would say that this is "unreleased" when I, and most likely many other fans, have this single extended mix cd bought directly from Kmart!!! I have this on my iPod, for crying out loud! Next time, get your facts strait! Later.
Thanks for the post of this beautiful song-first heard it at one of his concerts at an intermission and loved it and immediately tried to find it on YouTube and found it and then found it on a CD that I found online. I love this man and have been following him and his career since 1973 when I was 10 years old.
@theelectkickenass Donna covered his song after it became a hit. As much respect as I have for both artists, noone is kicking noone in the ass, fella.

"Will He Ever Come Out?" What the hell is that. I am hetereosexual, and have a bias against those who "come out", irregardless of their sexual preferences. Some want people to "come out" as a way to "back" their cause, while others look for it as a way to hate. Me? I don't care!!! Who cares what he sexual preference is. He's a great talent, and a kind person. His life is his personal business and no one else's.
If there ever was a song that was Heaven sent, this would be the one ;) Amazing song ... most definitely one of my all time favorites. Performer extraordinaire !
I listened to this song every day as my baby Melissa lay dying in the hospital in 1977. She miraculously pulled through and is now a mommy of three beautiful babies. Could it be magic?
@brucegrenehan1 That's an interesting story (and I am so glad that she's okay now)--because Chopin's Prelude #20 is also known as the "Funeral..." Oy!
That Barry had palstic surgery, and waht? is this really important?I only know that he´s the best singer.with a great talented, awesone, adorable and a great person...and much more
Maybe it was released on that cd single LATER in 1997 as well, but this mix WAS originally released with the single 1993 remix and instrumenal mixes, i know as i bought TWO copies of the cd single. Brillant mix, my favourate Manilow mix of alltime as well as the PWL 12" remix of Copacabana.
I played this back in '94 off an import CD single. It was very popular in the clubs. I used to use the instrumental track to perform the song for charity benefits.
I saw Barry at Blenheim Palace many years ago, he was spectacular. I saw him again at Hyde Park a month ago, again he was spectacular and I was so excited when he mentioned Blenheim Palace.
I could never get away with listening to Barry at our night club but now hearing this?? ahhh haaa watch out people! This is awesome thanks for sharing!!
This the 1993 extended version as released on the UK cd single which i bough ton my first trip to London in 1994. It reached no.36 on the UK charts in 1993, should'vebeen no.1 for many weeks!
heard this version in '94 during DJ chinaman's strictly ballroom medley... super love this..

I think Barry Manilow's wonderful! I remember when Mandy came out in 1978.
I was 14 and I fell head over hills in love with him and have been ever since! That was 31 years ago! He is still the best! This dance mix is sweet!
