  • heard this version in '94 during DJ chinaman's strictly ballroom medley... super love this..

  • I love this remix! thanx

  • Mesmerized at 1:06 .......sweeeeeet! : )

  • Thanks for posting this song. They played it at many of the conerts I have been to in the last 10 years of Barrys. He I think remixed and did this record in the late 90s and they played it at the concerts during intermission and before the concerts. Love the record and know it would of been a #1 smash if it were released just like the regular record was. Love Barry and have since 1973 at the beginning and am 48 now. Thanks for this post.

  • Why didn't this get RELEASED!

    It's fantastico!

  • I have no idea why you would say that this is "unreleased" when I, and most likely many other fans, have this single extended mix cd bought directly from Kmart!!! I have this on my iPod, for crying out loud! Next time, get your facts strait! Later.

  • The British Boyband Take That di a cover of this too! It's just as good as this!!!

  • @JamaicaUK: Of course they would, Take That was/is managed by Simon Cowell, and THAT big queen knows good dramatic disco when he hears it LOL :)

  • Thanks for the post of this beautiful song-first heard it at one of his concerts at an intermission and loved it and immediately tried to find it on YouTube and found it and then found it on a CD that I found online. I love this man and have been following him and his career since 1973 when I was 10 years old.

  • gooooood!!!

  • donna kickes his ass

  • @theelectkickenass Donna covered his song after it became a hit. As much respect as I have for both artists, noone is kicking noone in the ass, fella.

  • As long as its Barry---its wonderful! What talent!

  • Haunting, EPIC, outrageous! Best remix of all remixes! :D

  • "Will He Ever Come Out?" What the hell is that. I am hetereosexual, and have a bias against those who "come out", irregardless of their sexual preferences. Some want people to "come out" as a way to "back" their cause, while others look for it as a way to hate. Me? I don't care!!! Who cares what he sexual preference is. He's a great talent, and a kind person. His life is his personal business and no one else's.

  • Barry...it is MAGIC!

  • Love the song even more that they mixed it this way. Thanks for the post of this beautiful song that was a huge hit for Barry.

  • possibly one of the best remix's of a song you'd never think could be remixed. Smooth, elegant, timeless. Incredible skill

  • WILL HE VER COME OUT???

  • If there ever was a song that was Heaven sent, this would be the one ;) Amazing song ... most definitely one of my all time favorites. Performer extraordinaire !

    Manilow=UBER talent

  • This track could be used to resuscitate the heart after a cardiac arrest.

  • barry mailow is bernard gallagher in disguise???????????

  • Nice remix, nice intro, Barry Manilow, Barry Manihigh

  • I listened to this song every day as my baby Melissa lay dying in the hospital in 1977. She miraculously pulled through and is now a mommy of three beautiful babies. Could it be magic?

  • @brucegrenehan1 What a fantastic story, and yes, it is magic, fate, destiny.......

  • @brucegrenehan1 That's an interesting story (and I am so glad that she's okay now)--because Chopin's Prelude #20 is also known as the "Funeral..." Oy!

  • Truly love this song...and Donna Summer's version is amazing too!

  • Her groove on. Chopin was a woman. Look it up.

  • @tja2729 Well, there's a Kate Chopin, writer...I dunno, Frederic Chopin is a man, isn't that right?

  • @tja2729 Oh, PLEASE tell me you were drunk when you typed this.

  • It is the 1993 remix from the UK.

  • I love this song, this remix....

  • Barry, please do a duet with Donna Summer...

  • It was mixed by Trevor Horn during his Art of Noise-period. It was released as a DJ-only track

  • @jokolo67 I thought I recognized some of the AoN sound effects in the beginning. I loved his work with them as well.

  • Pretty kool , it could be upped just a bit' ;-)

  • starts badly, sounds wrong and as usual a wanna be dj fucks up a good tune, fucking 1980's dennis waterman could do better.

  • @johnnyshamma lol "a wanna be DJ"? This remix is by Trevor Horn. Do some research.

  • Maybe it was released on that cd single LATER in 1997 as well, but this mix WAS originally released with the single 1993 remix and instrumenal mixes, i know as i bought TWO copies of the cd single. Brillant mix, my favourate Manilow mix of alltime as well as the PWL 12" remix of Copacabana.

  • I am sure he had some , but he doesn't look better .Just google him! This picture is from the beggining of the 90s .

  • Seeing him 7 time, it just never gets old!! LOVE this version!! Thanks! :o)

  • Oh please--Frederick Chopin is looking down, smiling, and wishing he could get his groove on ;-)

  • @significantly I agree with you 100%

  • @significantly Play some Stephen Fucking Sondheim

  • ROCKIN n rolling!

  • I played this back in '94 off an import CD single. It was very popular in the clubs. I used to use the instrumental track to perform the song for charity benefits.

  • Oh by the way Barry, you are still gorgeous too! xxxx

  • I saw Barry at Blenheim Palace many years ago, he was spectacular. I saw him again at Hyde Park a month ago, again he was spectacular and I was so excited when he mentioned Blenheim Palace.

Barry, you STILL have the MAGIC !

    xxxx

  • I could never get away with listening to Barry at our night club but now hearing this?? ahhh haaa watch out people! This is awesome thanks for sharing!!

  • This the 1993 extended version as released on the UK cd single which i bough ton my first trip to London in 1994. It reached no.36 on the UK charts in 1993, should'vebeen no.1 for many weeks!

  • I think Barry Manilow's wonderful! I remember when Mandy came out in 1978.

I was 14 and I fell head over hills in love with him and have been ever since! That was 31 years ago! He is still the best! This dance mix is sweet!

  • I think the song "Mandy" was released in 1974, when I was 10-

  • Yeah, you're right..I was eleven then!

  • Yeah your right, it was 1974..I was eleven then!

  • One word to describe Barry Manilow.

    Talented.
