Haha! I love how he said "It costs the network a lot of money when we play Zeppelin" because it does!! Page doesn't usually sell his songs. I remember Jack Black had to beg the band to play "Immigrant Song" in School of Rock.

Anybody can do a cover of a song, they just have to pay royalties. What one cannot use without permission is the original recordings.
